This item doesn't have a bottom, just a waterproof cloth you tie to the corners, sides. My dog chewed them and put holes in the cloth first night. I purchased a liner and it fits perfectly. It took me about 45 minutes to put together. Instructions were poor! The screwdriver it came with broke ,both of them. I used mine. Overall it fits perfectly between my bed and wall, it's tall enough and long enough for my 82lb German shepherd/Labrador retriever mix to stretch out.     • Cheap materials, not sturdy or durable, assembly is a huge pain
Wish we never got this thing. The interchangeable part manufacturing to support 3 or more different sizes just forwards all the assembly to the consumer. If you have a large dog and are getting the 6-sided option, be prepared to assemble 24 fasteners (48 nuts and bolts and 48 halves of the connectors) with poor access (hunched over with arms straddling the crate wall) to the bottom fasteners. Besides the nightmare assembly, all materials are extremely cheap. The aluminum crate walls are extremely light and weak and the fasteners are cheap plastic. I'm pretty sure a 60+ lbs. dog could break out of this if they tried hard enough let alone chew through the flimsy tied tarp flooring. We are in the process of returning this thing.     • Not for escape artists
It's would be a great kennel for a calm older dog but not a high energy dog. Mine was able to escaped from it the first day we put her in it. She pushed the door right open even with the lock being secured.

    • No bottom. Still good if not for escape artist.
It seems sturdy but, should be aware there is no bottom to this and my dog is old but, if you have a true escape artist I would not get this crate. It's supposed to sit completely on the floor so if you do order it make sure you get a bed or mat to go with it. The bottom piece that comes with it is very thin and like paper, that's why I'm only rating a 4 out of 5. My dog is old though so we already have stuff for her and I don't have to worry about her trying to get out of it. Other than that it's very easy to put together and very spacious for my German/Aussie mix. You do not need more than one person to put this together. Very simple instructions. She does chew on things and I don't think this crate is something she can chew through. Also this crate does get shipped from FedEx so make sure you go to the FedEx website and give delivery directions if you live in an apartment. ... show more

Works perfectly for my 4 little dogs, plenty of room, it just comes with a waterproof kinda of tarp bottom so we bought a padded bottom for it.
