These boots have excellent leather and soles. The stitching is well done. They are durable and fit to size. The one flaw is the material that is used for the upper ankle surround. It is soft vinyl and while comfortable is is ready ripping after six months of normal wear and tear. Thes boots seem to be very durable and should last a couple of years. Thick leather, stands up to months of daily use doing construction and hiking. I think, with how it's looking now, it's going to last me at least one year. The only weak points have been stitching onto the sole. I especially got these because of the eyelets all the way up the laces, rather than those dumb hooks. Speaking of, I recommend getting wide (like 1/2in) laces because they don't untie from basic knots. I do oil these boots with water-proofing mink oil once every few months, and I try to keep it clean after a mucky day. ... show more
