I've had these about a year and wear them at work (airline ramp/baggage handling). They are not perfect, but they're much cheaper than most other steel-toed shoe/boot options and they are way more comfortable. Honestly they're actually more comfortable than some of my normal (non-steel-toed) shoes. I've worn them outside of work a few times just because. They're still holding up perfectly fine after a year on the ramp (albeit part-time), just some of the fabric on top where the steel toe itself is wearing down a bit, but still perfectly wearable. And most importantly, the steel toe does actually work. I've dropped some bags on my feet, and one time I dropped a tow bar on my foot too...or at least I think I did, because I was wearing these and I barely felt it. The only downside I've seen with these is the rubber on the sole (like most rubber) doesn't take kindly to gasoline, so if you find yourself refueling ground support equipment/vehicles and spill some on the ground, step away so the gas doesn't touch the soles. Aside from gasoline they deal with liquids pretty well in terms of no slipping. I've not "tested" the kevlar lining in the sole yet so I can't speak on that, but based on the rest of the shoe it probably works. Might be worth wearing these if you live in an area where broken glass or used needles are common ground clutter. They also are fairly breathable and even after afternoons on the ramp (where I live it regularly is over 100 and sunny) they did not smell that bad, which is nice. Lastly, they look pretty nice and look like proper athletic shoes. As such, prepare for coworkers/managers/etc. to always ask "are those steel-toed?" and step on your foot to test. The reflective strips on the side are a nice addition. I personally got the blue and the color is accurate to the pictures. Sizing wise - I typically wear a men's 7.5 or 8, of these I got the men's 8 and they fit me very well. No surprises or bizarre sizing here.

A co-worker recommended these ~$50 Amazon steel toe safety shoes as an alternative to the company sanctioned shoes that we are required to wear. A lot of us are getting additional shoes as a backup and to have an alternative and to cut back on wear and tear by wearing the same pair constantly. After many years of wearing these and after going through some truly horrible shoes I finally arrived at a pair that I can actually wear comfortably through our long shifts. This included the kind of shoes that felt as if you had tied a sack filled with heavy rocks to your feet, it included the kind of shoes that seemed to have razor blades for padding around the ankles, and shoes that were so poorly made that they literally started falling apart after what seemed a much-too-short amount of time, and shoes that just made you wish that you could go back to that cushy office job and just sit all day, LOL. After all those horrendous ordeals I had finally arrived at a pair that I could actually wear and not go home in agony and tears at the end of the day. I was a happy camper at last! Or so I thought. Or so I thought until I purchased my ~50 alternative pair! As good as those happy camper shoes were (and still are), I think I like these cheaper shoes even more. As light and comfortable as those h.c. shoes were, these "el cheapo" pair are even lighter and more comfortable. I daresay they feel as if you were walking around in house slippers! They are stylish as well. My h.c. pair are pretty nice looking. They actually look like real shoes and I've even worn them in the real world after work rather than change out of them on site, but these ~50 Amazon steel toe safety shoes are on a totally different level altogether. I love them and I love how they look and I want to wear them all the time. I want to wear them to church, I want to wear them shopping, and I want to wear them while doing chores outside the house. And the thing is, nobody needs to know I'm walking around in steel toe safety shoes. Since I started wearing these I have received numerous compliments, which is not something I have often received in the past. So, as it turns out, these are the real "happy camper" shoes! I truly recommend that you try then out and see how they work out for you!!! The one and only caveat is that the stock insoles as good as they are, will probably not be best for day to day wear and for prolonged sessions. You will definitely want to look into also getting a decent pair of insoles. Trust me, your feet will thank you for it. But once you have those and with these shoes not only will you be stylish and comfortable you will also be safe, which is the whole point after all! I think I want to keep my officially sanctioned pair, but I am definitely happy to have these as well and am happy to give them my highest recommendation.

I work in the road all day. Way more comfortable than boots and feels like half the weight of what I usually wear. Only thing I suggest replacing is the insoles. Since it's more of a budget brand the insoles that are there are pretty much as thin as paper. The shoe itself seems well made and that's after I've already been using them for about a month. Also the treading on the bottom of the shoe is unique and I feel like I have more grip when walking on the ground.

Cute, comfortable, and durable. Great price. I wore them out I 6 months, but I work 10-12 hour shifts on my feet. They only reason they were worm out was the tread was flat. Insole was still comfortable, and I could have probably worn then longer, but the being flat was an issue. Fantastic support. Impressive and durable shoe.
