I purchased these based solely on the fact I liked their appearance and needed a steel toe safety shoe despite some of the negative reviews I read on the fit & comfort. (I reasoned that if they didn't fit or were not comfortable I would just send them back). Well I can gladly report I can contradict any of the naysayers or negative reviews I read, on fit. These shoes are extremely comfortable and look great in black. I would not hesitate to wear them out in a casual, social setting either. So they are also quite versatile. So as for durability I can't really comment since I've only owned them a few days but upon close inspection they they appear to be very well made and solid and I have no worries about how the soles will will last upon repeated use.. also it should be noted that they are extremely affordable at $39.50. And fit true to size. This would be the perfect shoe for someone who spends time in an office but also needs to be on a construction site occasionally, or walk through a warehouse where they are forklifts running about.. that's my review and I'm sticking to it... Got these shoes as a cheaper alternative for my restaurant job. They were advertised as non slip but I am sliding around. Tried them for 3 days to see if they will improve but no luck. Don't recommend them if you work with water around.

Slip resistance lacks but better than it's competitors. Water proof for the most part. Comfortable unless you're on your feet 24/7. The one thing I will say is you drop something heavy on your toes you're not gonna feel a thing.

For the price, it is worth it. I have had mine for about 6+ months now, im still wearing them. However, after putting them through daily work rebuilding industrial pallets (70lb) for 4+ months, then sprinting in them working as a fedex driver, the pocket holding the steel toes has come undone in both shoes. Still wearable but if you run on a hill sideways, the pressure on the side of the shoe will push your toes into an uncomfortable spot with the steel toe feeling like it wants to cut off your toes. (I still wear them everyday.) Additionally, the way the rear of the shoe is designed, when it starts hanging up while your walking from general wear and tear, unlike expensive shoes, you can rip that particular layer off and your heel is back to walking normally.
