Still getting used to these. They are lightweight and have a good tread which I like, and are easy to get on and off but I do prefer boots with eyelets at the top (personal preference!). Haven't had the opportunity yet to "drop" anything on the steel toes, thank goodness, but so far the steel toe portion does not rub on my toes like some do.
