Ordered one for our 3 year-old grandson in May and it was a HUGE hit. The battle part is cool, but I think he likes the dancing option the best. Who wouldn't love a dancing, musical dinosaur? Easy to use and navigate with the big buttons on the RC - takes a lot of batteries, but they last a long time through daily use. He liked it so much and his 5 year-old brother and 5 year-old cousin both wanted to play. I ended up buying 2 more for the older boys on their birthdays in June and July. I ordered two of these for my kids, the dinosaurs don't like rechargeable batteries ( they will only work with regular batteries, rechargeable battery voltage is too low) and 1 remote didn't work right out of the box. If you hold the remote up to your camera on your phone and push a button on the remote you should see a quick infrared flash of light from it. If you don't it doesn't work. I am currently waiting to hear back from the company as I have requested a replacement remote, I will update my review with the outcome. Update 4/11/23 After contacting the seller and not receiving a reply I decided to open the remote and fix it myself. Upon opening the remote I found both solder connections for the IR LED coming off the board as shown in the picture. After a bit of a struggle with it I was able to solder them both back on the board and it works now but I can confirm that these are of very poor quality and customer service is even poorer (nonexistent). Once they get your money you probably won't hear from them again so if you buy them you've been warned. Amazon should not be selling these toys, I would have been more understanding if I had at least received an automated reply but got nothing, I wont buy another thing from this seller ever again. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my nephew and niece to play with just to learn how to control something small and simple. It also makes music. The battery is sold separately. They really enjoyed it for like 5 minutes. It's a fun decoration to have when they're not here.
