Overall this case is nice. Provides good grip to the overall steam deck. Its clear so you can see a skin under it if you have one. The plastic feels good. The only thing I would like to see improved is the seam where the two parts of the case meet. It creates a little ridge and hit right where your hands grip the device. Not bad but can be annoying at times.

almost perfect. i would say make just the hole for the USB-C slot about 2-3mm bigger at the top and sides. it doesn't sit perfectly so the clearance is off on the charge port. i had to cut mine slightly to make it fit without it putting pressure on the usb-c plug.

For those out there that want a clear case, but don’t want hard plastic that’s slippery and attracts fingerprints, this is the one you want to get. The TPU plastic makes this case easy to put on or take off, gives a nice grippy feel without making your hands sweaty, and keeps its shape unlike silicone cases. The simple geometric pattern on the back isn’t too flashy. It’s thick but still fits in the carry case easily. It also fits in a makeshift dock that I’ve made from my old Wii U game pad charging dock. There’s plenty of clearance for the ABXY buttons and d-pad. All cutouts line up very well. No issues when plugging in headphones or the charging cable. I haven’t noticed any heat issues at all. I did notice that the thinner plastic near the output vent at the top of the deck was a little… “wobbly” or loose at first, but storing the deck in the carrying case helped to flatten it out over the course of a week or so. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it for anyone that wants a little added protection for their Steam Deck.

I am not disappointed in it for the price I paid ($12) but I want who ever buys this to know it’s a tight fit and the coverage is weird on the top. It’s almost too thick but still functional and doesn’t completely line up. It says protects from water but you’d be crazy to test that. All in all I’m going to give it three stars because I don’t hate it but I wouldn’t recommend it for long term safe keeping and I’ll probably be looking for another case. It’s a great starter though. I was worried when I put it on that it would tear up the skin I had just put on it but alas, it survived (:

I've seen some reviews on here state that it didn't fit their official Steam Deck device. Maybe the company has made improvements since some of those reviews were written because I did not notice that issue with mine. It seems to fit it perfectly and it works great. I have used it for almost a year now and have had no issues.

The build quality is poor, the seams on the sides have little burrs that have scraped and dug into my hand as I attempted usage and defeat the purpose of what should be a comfortable grip. Also has a loose fit on the device. Bought due to the transparency, but not worth the literal pain of usage.
