First of all... THIS THING WILL NOT MOVE. I was shocked at how big it was when it came in the post, I was honestly expecting it to be slightly smaller, but I'm not complaining. Once I got it clamped to my desk and tightened it as far as I could, when I tell you it hasn't budged, I mean it. It's an absolute unit. I've been using stands that just sit on my desk and I lose so much desk space, but with this, I can actually scoot my keyboard under so I can still use my school books without awkwardly placing them on top or propping it up and having it constantly falling down. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how I want to organize everything, I'm also still in the middle of getting new monitors and possibly a new desk. Once I get everything situated I will definitely be buying another one. The other great part about a clamp shelf like this one is if I get a new desk I can quite literally just take it off and put it on the new one with no problems. I place my midi keyboard on it and it's pretty sturdy. I press pretty hard on the keys and the thing would like shiver a little, but definitely not wobble or shake, for those who are wondering and are worried about this. I also tested it out with my 27 inch monitor, which is about 13 pounds, and it could hold the weight without any obvious or visible sag. Pretty nice for the price ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I needed a place to set my MPK iii and still have room for my computer keyboard. This is exactly what I've been looking for! It allows me to face forward and access both my computer keyboard and MPK iii while being able to view my monitor, as opposed to turning to the side on a separate table or stand. Because of space limitations, it allowed me to keep my setup compact. Also, what is great is the simple installation. It uses a clamp/vice grip style. It allows you to position it to your preference without having to ruin your wooden desk by drilling holes for screws. Great riser solution! ... show more

This riser is just what I needed! I like my glass & metal desk and it was perfect for me...before COVID-19. I went from working at home one day a week to every day at home. I needed more workspace, so my largest monitor needed to be up & off my desk area. This riser did the trick. It clamped to the glass with no issues. It took just 5 minutes from the box to use.     • Great idea
These are great. I just wish that there was a better way to stack a couple on top of each other - you can, but you have to face them opposite ways, which puts a lot more weight onto the bottom of the first one. But they do work very well even in that configuation. I was able to screw into them (carefully, drill a pilot hole, and tape the bit so you don't go through), and mount things under them (USB outlets). The mount part is steel, and if you are slightly handy, could create a separate shelf out of a nicer wood, and use these to hold it up. I plan to do this at least for one to create a two-tier shelf. ... show more

    • Bought this before I bought my dual monitor stand but decided to keep this anyways
This is currently holding my laptop and my dual monitor stand with two 24 inch monitors on it (as well as a couple of papers and a pack of gum) It's very sturdy, like VERY sturdy and the clamps take up almost no space beyond the edge of the desk (mine is a glass desk. The clamps do take a little more than 2 inches under the desk though so if you have a shallow desktop before the crossbar these probably won't work. I highly recommend this if you're looking to add more deskspace and/or raise your monitors. ... show more

This is a unit. I've had this baby slapped to my desk for over a month with my monitor arm attached to it and it hasn't shown any signs of weakness. I move my monitor all over the place on a daily basis, but I still haven't even had to retighten the clamps to my desk. This monster is 100% beefsauce and takes 2mins to assemble. tl;dr Really nice having the second tier and a place to slide the keyboard. 10/10 would buy again. ... show more
