Used on a 2012 MDX. Completely plug and play. The only hardest parts is study the instructions for programing the box which is a very easy process once you done it. My tip is, tilt the wheel the farthest down and towards you possible. It's amazing to wake up to work and start your car from the window.

Incredibly easy to install. Took longer to zip tie the wires back so they didn’t snag anything. You CAN. Unlock the doors after it’s running. Unlike other starters where you can’t or need to run extra wiring to the BCM. Highly recommend you install the hood pin switch too for safety. No turbo timer function to where you can activate it while running so you can leave it running after stop. 15 min runtime. Box fits perfect on top of the black cover above the brake pedal where floorboard light is. It will start with the hood open and doors open. So be careful if you’re working on the engine making sure the fob is out away where no one can touch it. Use your grey valet key to give to the mechanic.

It took me about 30-40 minutes. I installed this on the acura mdx 2007 and I will say this. The hardest part was disassembling and reassembling and having to tuck the remote starter away. I can not give this a full 5 star because the video was not on the SUV of the acura and the video did not tell me about the screw holding the plastic in on the left side. The video also does not even show putting it all back together. Other than that it works great and I would recommend it for those who want to defrost their acrua in the winter.

Wow this auto starter in my wife's 2013 acura mdx was easy and it works great. $200 is well worth it. The video doesn't show the 1 hidden bolt on left side plastics to the left of steering wheel but besides that it was easy to pull under dash down and wire in. Took 15 minutes to plug in and put back together.

Easy to install great additional option to our car. Remote start is a great option to have in the desert or in the cold. This is second one I have purchased and installed. First one was for my Tundra and now the MDX. Easy to install, works great!

I can't really show any pictures because it's totally hidden up under the dash. Take your time and make sure there is no interference with the steering column. Pairing the unit with the factory remote was unbelievably easy. Follow the instructions to the letter and you're golden. PS - I broke a bunch of clips taking the housing off the steering column. Only thing I can think of to prevent this would be heating the plastic up with a heat gun or blow dryer. Really created a nightmare to fix without ordering a new piece. Beware!
