I bought this to cover my cargo trailer to protect it from the snow during the winter. Trying to put it on, it caught a very sharp edge and ripped a small hole, which is understandable. It didn't take much pressure to cause a puncture though. I heard it rip and quickly let go so a big tear didn't develop. I decided it wasn't heavy duty enough to withstand a harsh winter and didn't finish covering the trailer. It surely wouldn't stand up to the high winds we consistently experience. It would be good for light duty only. It's a decent light duty tarp but not strong enough to be considered heavy duty. It seems to be made well and I will use it for another purpose but I don't think it will hold up well outdoors. It's a inexpensive tarp that won't handle much abuse. If all you need is a light duty tarp, this will be fine. ... show more
