I was able to set this keyboard up in less time than it takes to assemble a spoon from IKEA. Seriously, it was out of the box and ready to play in less than 10 minutes. The sound is great and keys feel good under your fingers. The controls are on top and in the center of the keyboard. I have another keyboard where the volume, power, and all other controls are on the back. It is nice to have them at the ready. There is a multitude of in and outputs on the back. I'm able to record directly from it (so I can play it back and hear how off-time I was....). The keyboard includes a three foot pedal that works well and does what it should. I'm not used to the layout and how to configure the rhythms, tones, or sounds. You press a key while holding down a button on the top. I still need the user guide to decode which key corresponds to the sounds I want. At least there is a printed guide included so you don't ahve to look at a PDF when you want to make the keyboard sound like a duck quacking. (I haven't tried all the samples yet, but I don't think there is actually a "quack" sample). It is a great keyboard for beginners and seasoned players. The styling is sleek and classy.     • The keys are plastic and horrible
The media could not be loaded. I will most likely return this, the keys are a disappointment. It was a Christmas gift to my kid and it's a disappointment. I attached the video with the sound the keys make when u use them. Not happy at all. It looks nice and easy to set up but when u get an extra plastic noise when u use it, it is unpleasant to play or useless to learn on. Very disappointed ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a great keyboard for any beginner to learn from. The touch and feel are much better than the springy ones, and the connectivity features are a plus. I am able to connect this to my MacBook Air and record songs. Assembly only took about 15 minutes, and it worked without issue. The media could not be loaded. I was excited to see this up when I received it only to find that seven of the top black keys were stuck on top of the motherboard. Breaking the ridges off was an easy fix that I wish I didn’t have to do, but I’m glad I did. Aside from that, it’s pretty light weigh and sounds very good. I am really impressed with this digital piano. I don't have room for an actual piano in the home nor did I have the budget for one. This digital piano was the perfect solution for me. First of all you get a full sized piano keyboard that takes up the absolute minimal amount of space. You get the pedals so you can play this just like a true piano. The media could not be loaded. I just started playing the piano and this has made a fantastic practice piano. it provides a full size keyboard in a small frame. I have mine in my living room. The keys have a good texture feel to them but they are not weighted and they should be in order to simulate a real piano better. There is some variance of volume between a light touch of the keys and a heavier touch but the difference should be a little more profound. The piano also features tempo music and a metronome. Hopefully I will be rocking some Jerry Lee Lewis in no time. ... show more

    • easy to assemble, good sound quality and key feel
I am an absolute beginner with the piano so I'm not an expert on what it should sound like, but this sounded very good to me and like the pianos I have heard other people play before. It has rich sound and a variety of options which are a bit too complex for a beginner like me to truly understand. It worked very well with the teaching app I was using which recognizes whether or not you're playing the right key as part of training so it must be tuned properly enough for the notes to be recognizable by software. The feel and feedback of the keys is excellent. They feel like they have some weight to them and are not cheap or lightweight. The height of the stand is also very good for comfortable playing and the pedals can be situated any way you like. I liked the relatively compact footprint as well as it doesn't take up a ton of space (unlike a conventional piano). This was very easy to assemble as there are a limited number of parts (three pieces for the stand, the keyboard, the pedals, and a holder for sheet music). The instructions are pretty good, but it's also fairly intuitive. The keyboard screws in to the stand so it is very securely held in place. The sheet music holder doubles well as a holder for a tablet to do my lessons on so that was nice. ... show more
