I am one of those people who should not be spoken to until I've had coffee. Not "likes coffee." Not "enjoys coffee." I require caffeine to function as a productive member of society. For a while, my morning routine involved a near-daily Starbucks run. My taste buds loved it. My bank account staged a formal protest. That's why these Starbucks Pike Place Roast K-Cups have become my go-to coffee for the workweek. They give me the flavor I want without the daily coffee-shop price tag. Pike Place is smooth, balanced, and easy to drink cup after cup without becoming bitter or overwhelming. It has that familiar Starbucks taste with subtle cocoa and toasted-nut notes that make it feel like a real coffeehouse coffee instead of an "at-home compromise." The biggest compliment I can give this coffee is that I drink a lot of it. One cup turns into two. Two turns into "how is it already noon?" On busy workdays, my Keurig gets a serious workout, and these pods keep me supplied without requiring a second mortgage. I also appreciate how convenient it is to keep a large stash on hand.
