My husband and I love Starbucks ice coffee with no sweetener or cream...just ice and coffee. During covid we tried to replicate it at home...getting close to the real thing but always just missing the mark. Now that we are retired we prefer to go out less for our morning coffee so it became even more important to replicate that iconic ice coffee we love. These beans made that possible! I use the Krup grinder to course grind one cup of beans (I end up with 1 cup coffee grounds) and use a glass iced coffee Mason jar I bought on Amazon. It's the one with the metal filter that holds the ground coffee and goes in the glass jar. I leave it on the kitchen counter for atleast 12 hours or more...remove the metal filter and put Mason jar in fridge. Shake out used grounds in the garbage can...NOT your garbage disposal! You can rinse out the remaining grounds in sink and I then put it in the dishwasher...minus the plastic ring at the top...it comes out sparkling clean. When your coffee is ready, just fill your cup with ice and pour...it tastes exactly like the real deal. If you want it stronger just use more beans/ground coffee. After trying dozens of beans...some Starbucks...some not...THIS is the one! Never looking back. ... show more

My hubby likes strong robust dark coffee! I like flavors. So we always have both in the house. Since I don’t drink his, I can’t say how they taste. But I’m the shopper and usually just purchase the best value until…he informed me that this was the best coffee he has ever had. This mix is great when you are having friends or family over and no one drinks the same flavor of coffee. It might not be the exact brand they like but it does give the family/friends options while not breaking the bank. I grind my own beans in my Vitamix down to espresso-fine-grind, and these Starbucks beans make the best richest coffee I've made yet, and have tried many kinds. I think it's the way they roast the beans/time/temp to get the flavor. Because when you later grind your own in a Vitamix for 2 minutes it gets hot and re-roasts to bring out even more flavor. You use less doing this, too when brewing. But after the Vitamix, dump into bowl and set quick outside or garage or house will smell like strong roast lol. ... show more

Starbucks Pike Place is a staple in my home! Definitely my favorite coffee bean. Some retailers only sell the ground version but I need whole bean for my machine. Now this is a good cup of "on demand" coffee! I had tried the Tom Horton's, YUK, weak as duck stuff, and a sour "off" taste, I don't understand the "cult" following on that. I tried the Caribou Caramel and It smelled good, but, did not taste like "real" caramel flavored coffee. I will try the Starbucks Fall blends/Caramel, Pumpkin spice, etc., as I am hoping they will be worth the price. I love a quality coffee without the "coffee house price"! Like: Hands down, the flavor. And by its sales volume, a lot of coffee drinkers agree. Dislike: prefer to call them concerns. Cost. If I stay with the minimum of 60, and add to a minimum of five items under Sunscribe and Save, the discounts get down to what I was paying at Sam's at .51/cup. Even better if you can order in higher #s (bulk). If you order the 40 cup lot, it appears the cost pushes $1.00/cup. That dog won't hunt! I do not understand the issue with recycling the K-cups. I clean them out and let them collect in bulk, then take them to my local recycle drop point. I haven't followed them beyond the drop point but what's the hesitation by municipalities re recycling them? K-cups represent a LOT of plastic running loose around the blue marble. ... show more
