Not a Starbucks groupie, by any stretch but this coffee is the nicest Sumatran that I’ve drank. This brews up rich, earthy and SUPER smooth, with absolutely ZERO “burned” taste, which I find to be a common characteristic of many other offerings.

It is a dark roast with potent spice blend. The ground size is medium - good for pour overs but if brewed as is, it tastes weird and too bitter. The ground size is medium so I had to ground it to use in my espresso machine. With added milk or cream it tastes just like the drink from Starbucks. The bag is vacuum sealed to ensure freshness. Unfortunately it doesn't say when it was milled and packaged, but the bb date gives me 2 month to finish it, which is ok. ... show more
