Small enough to be portable between home & office, but large enough to be a nice display piece if that’s your style. The speaker has great sound, and connected easily through Bluetooth. Comes with charger cord, but not the charger port box. Lights up when playing, and spouse says the specks on the ship are true to design and details are spot on? Happy surprise, I didn’t realize it also came with a button to to play Star Wars theme! Loved that part. Set up was easy, and we were using the speaker within minutes. Longest part was getting out of box. Packaging was good, and shipping was quick - arrived at expected date. This being a great ship model, AND a speaker - price is a steal. This is my first Bluetooth device so I may sound a bit naive. I have wireless headphones that operate on an RFband I love them, but this seemed too cool to pass up. Actually really decent sound for a 30 dollar speaker. Decent bass/Well rounded sound, but there's no way to adjust the levels (call me old-school) There's no volume control on device The blue light-up engines are a lie - there is one blue charge indicator led in one engine. Overall (and I've been using for less than 72 hours) it is proving to be decent workshop speaker for my tablet. Have used on music and video. UPDATE: I've had this thing for about 9 months now and I use it almost every day. I use it in the kitchen when cooking and i use it outside a lot. I've even brought it work for a few demolition jobs when my boss forgot his radio. It is good and loud, and i don't seem to have blown the speaker yet! It does occasionally have that hollow, tinny sound I've come to associate with almost every bluetooth rig I've heard. Charge time is quick and battery charge holds well (so far) ... show more

Speaker looks and feels really good. Nice weight and sits on the display stand solidly. Paired easily w/ my source device. Sound is good, not great, but good. Keep in mind it's a single speaker so there will be limitations.

For the price of this item, this is a great collectible or gift idea for any Star Wars fan. Not too big, but not too small and the speaker is nice and loud. As other people have mentioned, there isn't a volume control on this speaker...but you can control that from the phone that you're playing the music from! My only complaint is that the built in music is the Star Wars Main Theme, when I think it would be much more appropriate for it to play the Imperial March. ... show more

This is a really nice speaker. I bought it for my husband for Christmas but I’m a bit jealous. The sound is good. The quality is what you’d expect from iHome. It’s not as rich as a Bose but the price isn’t a Bose either. It doesn’t sound like you’re broadcasting from a tin can either. This is a nice middle of the road speaker for a Star Wars fan. The cool thing is that the buttons are hidden in the design enough that I had to look at the diagram to figure out where the pairing button is.
