If you are wanting to safely descale our outboard motor, you really need this tank. The actual descaler chemical made by Starbright is hydochoric acid based, so you really don't want to fooling around with some homemade tank. Pay the money for this one time purchase. It can also be used for winterizing your outboard motor if you live where that's necessary. Only thing to say is, be sure to follow the instructions that come with the Starbright descaler to a T. And, when opening the valve to let the fluid flow, open first the vent, flows much easier. ... show more

Saved me a lot of money by doing it myself, very easy to setup and use. I bought a couple of gallons of winterizer from Wal-mart and that was the total expense.

Looking at the pictures and reading the description it infers that the tv fluid comes with it! It shows the fluid in the container!!

The Starbrite kit is basically the same kit as the Camco kit. You may want to read my Camco kit comments and review if you have not. These kits may cause freeze cracks if the raw water cooling system is not understood and if you are going to use this kit for winterizing. This company needs to clarify a few things to the user. ... show more
