After my oldest daughter recieved a Stanely for a birthday present, I decided it was time for me to jump on the Stanely Band Wagon. I use this cup every day. My bedroom is an ever 72 degrees in which my Stanely typically resides. It can hold ice for 3 days in this temperature. It is a bit bulky to carry especially when on outings. I did have to get a different cup carrier for my jeep (she is old) as base of the cup fit but it was a bit snug. The insert (the cars up carrier insert) would come out with the Stanely. It is easy to clean. I wash it by hand. Be sure to remove the lids seal and clean that area, as it will collect mold if not done. (This did not happen to mine, but a friends). Although the cup is aluminum, there isn't a metallic taste when filled, like so many off brand cups. The color, Stormy Sea, is very eye pleasing. This come is NOT leak proof but I still find it to be worth the price. ... show more

Nice cup, fit and finish appear perfect on mine. Laser etching is flawless, bottom of cup logo is laser etched. So this appears to be a legit Stanley. Product works as advertised. Deducting 1/2 a star for the packaging. Mine was not damaged, but considering the flimsy box and no padding it comes shipped in, I'm not surprised so many customers receive damaged items. For the price, Stanley really should improve the packaging of these. It's a seriously let down to order something so pricey, and receive it in a flimsy plain box that screams they're clearly cutting corners on the packaging. Stanley, you have a nice product, and I think many customers would've appreciated an un-damaged item in a nicely presented package. ... show more
