I've only used it a few times since receiving it and I've only used it for cold drinks so far but it definitely works at keeping those cold drinks cold all day. The color is so vibrant and perfect. The quality and durability of the cup is amazing. There's been no metallic taste at all that I can tell. The straw is large enough that you won't have to struggle to drink a thick smoothie. I bought some straw cleaners and some lid cleaners and the inside is big enough that I can fit my hand in it so there's been no issue with cleaning it. I don't know if it's leak proof or not because I haven't knocked it over or tried to purposefully spill anything. Plus I bought some leak proof pieces to attach that will hopefully keep it from spilling if it does get knocked over. Overall it's the perfect size, perfect color, perfect cup for me. A very nice unisex tumbler. The color is very pretty. The ridges in the top of the tumbler makes it look even more expensive. Keeps drinks cold for "at least" all day. Haven't tried it any longer than that. Perfect "white santa" gift also.

To be honest, now the Stanley trend is over. I feel like the quality has gone down a little bit. Although this is my 1st cup, I do feel that it was not as high-quality feeling as I was expecting. I feel like the handle could be a little bit more dense plastic, and the cup itself could be a little bit heavier, the flowers look a little blurry, but I believe that is because of the material they used to print them on so that you could put it in the dishwasher, which I appreciate I do highly highly highly highly recommend getting a boot for this cup. If it falls, it’s super easy to scuff and it also helps keep it from getting dented with normal wear and tear. it’s a very pretty cup and I get a lot of compliments on it. I also would recommend getting some extra straws since I find the one that comes with gets a little bit gunked up with use. I also did not find it to be completely leak proof I knocked it over a couple days ago and it spilled a bit, but it didn’t like gush everywhere. It is comfortable to hold in my hands and I do feel that it keeps things cold for a good long time as long as you put enough ice in there, I don’t really drink warm stuff too often so I’m not sure how long it will keep something warm, but I imagine it would also be good. Just based on how well it keeps things cold overall I’d recommend just waiting until it goes on sale or using your cashback to purchase. It’s definitely expensive for what it is, but it’s very cute makes me happy and I use it every day ... show more

I caved and bought a Stanley for myself to see what the hype was about. It did not disappoint! This is a beautiful color and I got tons of compliments on. I had also purchased the ice molds that work perfectly with this 40oz. I took it to the Minnesota State Fair and a whole day the ice held up amazingly! When we left there was still ice molds left that it kept my drink nice and cold This is a nice sturdy, well insulated cup. The only down side was I had to carry it all day. ... show more
