How do I use this? What is the best way to use Rosemary Essential Oil? This is highly subjective, but one of the most popular uses is diluting it with carrier oil and soaking your scalp and roots for some time before washing your hair and rinsing it out. What does "dilute with a carrier oil" mean? Blend rosemary oil with a carrier oil. The ratio for topical application of essential oils is 3% and under. In other words, for every 3 drops of essential oil, 97 drops of carrier oil. Or, 6-9 drops of essential oil per tablespoon of carrier oil. How much of this should I use on my hair? With essential oils, many times less really is more. Use 2-3 drops for direct application on your hair, and a drop or so for every ounce of shampoo or conditioner. Can I use this essential oil on my eyebrows? Yes! Be sure to use a proper applicator, and only use a single drop per eyebrow. My daughter got me into this rosemary essential oil as she said rosemary is known to help aid in new hair growth. As my hair has been rapidly thinning in several spots around the top of my crown area, I figured I’d give it a try. To be fair, I have noticed some new hair growth but nothing hugely overwhelming. But in the end I’m really hooked on this oil. I use it almost every night and have already purchased four bottles in total over the last several months. My routine is that I run the dropper through my hairline and through the part on the top of my head then lightly dab in the oil into my scalp area. I also run the dropper through the hairline area at base of my head and then lightly rub a drop of oil into the ends of my hair. The scent is really long lasting and is awesome to wake up to this scent left lingering on my pillow in the morning. I am also totally addicted to the tingling sensation that lingers for a while after I first apply the oil to my hairline. On a side note, I used to get frequent headaches that sometimes would later develop into migraines. I would dab a few drops of peppermint oil onto my temples at the start of a headache and sometimes that would help calm things down (I am into holistic remedies only and won’t take any “big pharma” based medicines or products). But a lot of times the peppermint oil would burn my skin and eyes, or run into my eyes and cause a lot of tearing and then I’d be left with more issues than just a headache. So one day when I felt a headache brewing, I decided to try this rosemary oil instead of the peppermint oil. I’m so glad I did as it did help lessen the severity of my headache overall without any burning to my skin or eyes. This oil is definitely my new “go to.” ... show more

This actually helped grow back an alopecia spot on my hairline the size of a quarter. It smells amazing too, I would always get complimented when I would wear it in my hair. If you wear this you don’t need any perfume or cologne lol you will walk around smelling like an apothecary all day! The only thing I will warn you about is don’t put much on your hairline because it will without you noticing slowly makes it’s way down your forehead into your eyes and it literally the worst feeling ever. I made the mistake of lathering it on my edges then throughout the day I noticed my eyes wouldn’t stop watering and I became very sensitive to light and had to wear sunglasses indoors. (I was a work) I couldn’t figure out why till I used a makeup wipe to wipe my forehead and eyes and then it went away. So yeah, great oil!     • Hair felt healthier and more natural
Pros: Too small compared to the price Cons: Smells good, not sticky, no irritation on scalp I have tried various oil, but nothing really worked out for me except Rosemary hair oil. So, I thought to give this oil a try. Best thing about this oil is it DOES NOT smell bad. I have migraine so I cannot take too strong smell specially on my hair. I just like the sweet and a bit minty smell of it. My scalp gets oily too easily as my hair is thinning for a while, but this oil does not make my hair oilier or sticky. As a result, I can put it on my scalp at night and sleep peacefully for the best result. My only issue was the bottle is too small compared to the price, but I will be buying more of this. After using it for a while my Hair fall has gotten better, and my hair feels healthier. Really like this product. I would recommend this anyone having hair fall issue or oily scalp. I had been researching options for hair loss and found articles that stated Rosemary was found to be helpful. I ordered this brand, used it and then thought I would try a different brand. I found the other brand's smell felt watered down. So went back to this brand. The smell, to me, seems more authentic. Using an eye dropper, I put it on throughout my scalp immediately after shampooing. The smell is initially an earthy, astringent, strong aroma. I was concerned that it would dry out my already dry scalp. The smell however dies down and after multiple uses, I was relieved and surprised that my scalp did not become dry at all, but the dry itching actually stopped. Also, even though its a small bottle it lasts about 1 -1 1/2 months. Finally, much to my joy and without any prodding from me, after the 5th or 6th month of use, my beautician stated she noticed new hair growth. Yeah! Sidenote: It has been stated that rosemary oil is supposed to be good for wrinkles. Thus, while using it for my hair, I have also been using about a nickle size on my face every morning before putting on make-up. I don't see any relief in the actual wrinkles, or even stopping them from forming, however, I do see that it helps my skin remain firmer. Overall, I will be a lifetime customer of this product. Due to the price, authenticity and ease of use. Including an eyedropper would make this product even easier to use, however. ... show more

It does not smell as strong as the rosemary oil I buy at my local market, so I presume it is not as potent. However, this was on sale, so I figured I would give it a try. I add it to my hair conditioner. Don't know if it helps, but it can't hurt... I hope.
