When I read "Flatbed Trailer Cargo Winch" I imagined maybe a 8-12' tow-behind trailer for your car or truck. No, these things are semi-trailer sized. They're TOUGH and BIG and HEAVY. For how strong they are I'm surprised they're the price they are and not more expensive. It's unfortunate they don't come with a tool for winding them, though it's just a hole through the axle, so any stiff bar that'll fit could be used to crank them. The simplicity and durability make it surprisingly functional so long as you can attach them. I couldn't find any instructions for doing so and had to wing it, but so far they're working great!

I added these to my equipment trailer as I often transport bundles of plywood. These are more convenient than just the strap loops most trailers come with. They work great and have never come loose. Very happy with them! They are made from thick metal and appear to be the same quality as the ones I have seen on stake trucks.
