I was excited to get these bowls. I chose this set for the size of the large bowl to use for water. But after two uses my dog broke the smaller one. She broke the wire frame off brackets that attach to the cage door. Plus the small bowl ended up in the larger bowl and was difficult to separate. I'm disappointed now and will have to find another set of bowls.

I bought 2 sets of thes crate bowls for both of my dogs. 1 is perfect everything is great. On the other set the ring on the water bowl is way too large and the bowl just falls through and can't use it in the crate.

i like how big the water bowl is- but there was this black residue that wasn’t coming off completely no matter how many times i washed it. every time i wiped with a napkin, black residue would be there. it took me four washes to finally give up and use rubbing alcohol. and even THAT took three extra times before no more residue was showing on a napkin.

I have a demon doodle who has decided that every so often, she is going to absolutely destroy anything attached to her crate. I don't like leaving her without food and water while I'm at work, so it has been a battle of wills (and brains) trying to figure out something she couldn't rip off her cage. Out of all the different options I purchased, this seemed like it might actually finally be the winner. I was able to fit it around the thick bars of her Alcatraz kennel, and it went completely around two bars, so she couldn't bend the connecter through the bars to pull it off. The little screw thing was working well so that she couldn't push the bowl up out of the mount. We made it just under a month and she has now completely ripped the bowl holder off the mount, rendering the unit useless. This would be fine for a dog who actually appreciates being left with food and water in their crate, rather than ungrateful sourpatch brats.
