Great product. I have fair skin and this gives me a completely natural looking tan that lasts for days. I just got back from a 4 day vacation and the application done the night before I left lasted well (I did not swim). If you have darker skin or want to look really tan this may be too light for you, I think St. Tropez has a darker version. The application is so easy; it is a tinted mousse so it is very, very light weight going one, and the tint allows you to see where you've applied so you don't miss spots. I want to say it is odorless; it may have a slight fragrance but it must be minimal, I'm sensitive. I'm not particularly careful when I apply, this doesn't seem to stick to dryer parts of skin like ankles and knees. I did try a drugstore gel product and found the color to be too golden and got blotchy in areas. St. Tropez is expensive but worth it; I always come back to it.

Tan color has a very pretty color, and fake tans usually make me orange but this tan makes me a nice tan/ red undertone. I wont recommend using it for the contour on your face, it made my eyes red and swollen. But that’s what facial tanning products are for. Other than that, this will be my new regular! No splotchiness, I applied with tanning mitts, and I only left it on for 5 hours not 8, because I’m very pale. Looks natural and the smell is okay.

I bought 4oz bottle based on a recommendation and tried them on my legs only first. I've never used any artificial tanning products or services so I was super skeptical about streaks, over-application, and that awful orange tint that everyone wants to avoid. I love the results and will be using this right before my wedding in April. I rubbed a small amount on my legs with my hands in the bathtub and waited about 15 minutes before getting dressed in loose clothing. After six hours I rinsed off as directed (this is actually an important step to avoid it smearing onto sheets/clothing - trust me, you'll still look tan!). I went to bed thinking it only gave me a slight tint, but when I woke up the next morning and my legs had darkened to a beautiful, natural color - the same tint I usually achieve by the end of summer. There were no streaks at all. The color faded gradually over the next two weeks so I used it on the rest of my body with the same result. Pros: Only need a little bit for the results, no streaking as long as you follow the instructions, and most importantly, super natural-looking, long-lasting results. Cons: Applying it with my hands left me with some slight stains even when I rinsed it off immediately; these went away after about 2 days. I also had a slight fake-tan smell for those two days, but goes away much quicker than the skin tint so I don't mind.

I would consider myself an intermediate to advanced in knowledge and application of self tanners. I have actually ordered this mousse about two times because I really like the color. It does not leave you orange and instead looks brown which is always a positive in self tanners. My skin is fair during the winter but does a good job of tanning during the summer if I am outside a lot. I use this mousse during the winter about once a week and apply it at night about an hour before I go to bed then I shower in the morning. During the summer, I use this about three times a week to get the type of brown I'm looking for. I'm giving this product four stars because it does have the classic self tanner smell to it and you definitely need a mitt to apply this mousse to your body. It will streak if you aren't super careful.

I like many have tried a lot of self-tanners over the years. This one has been the best so far. I decided on this size just in case it didn't work out. The larger size was almost twice the price. I tried it on my legs. I showered, exfoliated (do not skip this step) and shaved. I then put on an emollient and thick cream (I used Eucerine Advanced). As all the other reviews say, pay close attention to the dryer spots/joints; heels, ankle bones, toes, knees, elbows, etc. I let that soak in for about 30-40 minutes. I made sure it wasn't "sticky" any longer. I shook the self-tanner well and put it on in circular motions using a mitt. I did one full pump, then put it on...then repeated in the next section. You can see a difference as soon as you put it on. You have to work somewhat fast or it streaks a little. Have a damp cloth to wipe those away. Do not use in a room where a fan is running. I had my ceiling fan on at first. I realized it was starting to dry too fast as I was putting it on. It was pretty much odorless which is a huge plus. After about 4 hours, I noticed a big difference. By around 8-9 hours, I had a golden tan that didn't look fake. I took a shower before bed (I know the directions say to not do this but I live in FL and it was a very hot day. It had been about 12 hours since I had first put it on). Some did rub off on my sheets and towel but it did wash out. Some washed off in the shower but it wasn't a huge difference, at least on me. I have very fair legs so the slightest tan would be noticeable! I'm 48 and am starting to have dryer skin on my legs. Self-tanners I have recently used end up splotchy after a day or so. It has now been 24 hours plus and I am not seeing any spots/splotches. I have a few freckles on my legs and they look darker. So beware of that if you have a lot of freckles or scars. After I showered, I added a little more cream to keep my legs supple. It didn't affect the tan at all. It looks great! I recommend for sure!

Ok so after a lot of research it was stated by professionals that this is the best product for self tanning, and they were very right! The product was extremely easy to apply and left me with glowing skin. Iv received a spray tan before and was worried I would once again smell bad and feel sticky, so I was very pleased when I realized I did not experience that with this product. The day after applying it (before taking a shower) it left me a bit orange which was a bit worrisome. Thankfully after I showered it back bronze. Love love love this product and will definitely be purchasing again!!!

I have used the lotion type of this brand for many years and love it but thought I would try this and love this even more. I bought the reg size elsewhere but needed a travel size for when I go away. This works awesome, the tint while it helps to mainly tint your skin after leaving on several to 8 hours…I leave on till the next day..,.makes it easier to tell how you have applied it and if you see streaking after an hour you can simply touch up that area by a light wash to blend it in. If you take your time and use the mitt that comes with the bigger size, I have gotten little to no streak areas and it’s a nice brown shade. I suspect if you put too much on at once you might get not as nice a color tho I don’t think the old orange color at least. I start with two pumps for each arm and 3 for each leg but xperiment. I am older and just find that cellulite looks better with a tan so that’s why I use it! Some things to mention, it doesn’t tell you to shake it till you hear no sound, it will be more liquidy if not I found and very messy as it drips out of the top and gets all over when you shake it after each use….it’s really not a firm mousse anyway I’d call it more of a liquidy foam. So I hold it over the sink to shake after each use, first time it dripped all over the floor! I also didn’t read well enough realize you’re sposed to wash it off after the required hours and even tho it didn’t get on anything, I noticed it on the sink when I’d rest wet arm on so I rerread the instructions! The lotion one did not require that so I was careless. I do also exfoliate before each use. I’d guess if you want it darker you could wash off after 8 hours and put another application on, let it sit then wash that off. It’s a great clean product too!
