The media could not be loaded. I had been considering this watch for 3-4 months before I bought them. I read customers' comments, watched reviews on youtube, and learned all the pros and cons of this watch. You definitely won't be satisfied with its luminescence, moreover, you won't see the time when it's dark. But this doesn't bother me at all. When I first opened the box, I was astonished. They look amazing in real life. Photos and pictures can't show how they are beautiful. I have been wearing them for 7 days and can say they work perfectly. I wind up the watch every day (Seiko suggests 20 turns, but I do 10 turns) and wear it for 3-6 hours a day. Correctness is also at a high level. They are 5-6 seconds faster for five days. I think it's a good indicator for a mechanical watch. The strap band isn't symmetrical. One strap is shorter than another. So it was slightly difficult for me to put on the watch for the first time because I got used to the band of my shock watch. I've read some comments about the unsymmetrical position of pointers and lume. If you look at the watch from different angles it can seem that they are displaced. But when I change the angle, every item stands in its place. I guess it happens because of the form of glass. The media could not be loaded. Classy but casual. Super nice fit and finish. NATO strap isn’t quite enough for the weight of the watch but plenty of band replacement options out there.

This is a cool watch I’m glad I got it. Wanted something truly for every day wear to take the load off the Submariner. Yeah the face is dark but whatever. It looks rugged but professional and doesn’t look cheap. I’ll be replacing the strap once I get one in that actually fits.

Seiko is a powerhouse when it comes to watches. This watch looks great, operates great, and for those who want to explore automatic movement this one is very nice. It’s not a true diver but gives you a very close feel. It’s not a five for me because this watch is difficult to read. If you are in good lighting no problem, and aside from the obvious black on black being somewhat less legible, but dim to low lighting the lume is no where near as good as other models. I think white dots while keeping everything else black would have been a better choice for legibility. If you’re less concerned about that this is still a solid choice. ... show more

Don’t sleep on Seiko. This is a great watch. Well made and looks great. Comfy with the nato strap. Seems to keep good time though I don’t wear it daily. Well worth the $250 for a great looking automatic PVD watch.

Great watch, solid movement, bad ass look! Love this watch, Price is reasonable for a seiko and I am happy with the quality of the watch received and the all black look. Not easy to read at night but that is not why you buy an all black watch and it is easily visible in the daytime. Would prefer sapphire crystal at this price point. lower end watches like pagani design manage to include sapphire on most of their watches and I feel like seiko could have made that work here, domed sapphire would look great on this watch. ... show more

By far one of the best watches Seiko has made it is a self/manual wind watch does not need a battery just needs the motion of your wrist and or you winding it to by hand blows in the dark very happy with my purchase size is good for me can't say for other people I love the watch

Nice EDC watch, love the blacked out style of this seiko, can wear it in almost any occasion. I personally like the nato strap look so that’s a plus for me. But be warned after sunset it gets pretty hard to see the dial, because, we’ll you can see. The lum on the dials don’t gather light to easily, but that’s the price to pay I guess for this look. If the lums didn’t have that dark coating I think it would have worked fine in the dark as well. ... show more
