I was very pleased with this ladder. And comparing it to others, I also found it to be a great price. The specs confused me a little as the title said 6 ft, while the photo showed 8 ft. I measured it and found it was 6'6" from top rung to bottom rung. Then it had about 18" of rope above the top rung, so yes it's a total of 8 ft. It's a lot of quality ladder for the money. Good, solid, wide rungs. I'll probably put some water sealer on the rungs to protect them from mildew outdoors. I hung mine up a tree for the kids. The business is family operated, and it's always good to support that.

I got this for a loft bunk bed because the original ladder was slanted and in the way. This rope ladder is so much better. Being such a free flowing ladder I knew I was gonna have to secure the bottom of the ladder to the bed frame. I managed to remove a few steps from the ladder due to how long it is, and i used the remaining rope on the bottom to wrap and tie it to the bed frame. It works well for this. Took a little getting used to at first but now it's pretty easy to get up and down. It's very sturdy and I like the quality of the rope, hooks and wooden steps.

I used this ladder for my 6 yo grandson to get in my loft in tiny home. He loves it and matches my wood decor. The top rung was a little low so I restrung rungs and moved it up. It is very sturdy, made well and looks very nice. Very easy to adjust rungs if needed.

I got this ladder for a closet reading nook I built. I hooked it up to the studs in the ceiling using a hammock hanging kit. I also screwed the bottom piece to the floor so that it doesn’t dangle in every direction when the kids climb it. The ladder is nice but it’s a bit crooked (see first photo). I am not sure if there’s a way to fix that. The kids like it, so I’m happy.

This is the second we’ve purchased this rope ladder ,my kids absolutely love it... they used our first to climb, swing, hang upside down, you name it, they loved it until it broke ( which was a few years worth of playing and weathering) Your products are of good quality and durability. This is a very high quality rope and wood. I was very pleased when opening the package, because it was much nicer than I was expecting for the price. The rope is heavy, and very thick. The wood is solid. I feel very comfortable with the quality, and can trust that my children's weight will easily be held. The wood is 14 inches apart. This was way to far apart for my three year old, but we were able to easily untie each piece to slide them closer together. If you need to do this, I would suggest doing one piece at a time, so that you continue to have a model as to how the pieces are knotted on.

The product description says it can be anchored at the bottom, but it can't out-of-bag unless you want to anchor the bottom rung. There's just about 6 inches of rope free on each side after the bottom rung. I had to take it completely apart and re-tie the rungs closer together in order to get enough free rope at the bottom to connect new rope clamps and rings to be able to anchor it properly... which of course made the total cost to me higher. The kids love it, though, and it is sturdy.
