I love this guitar so much! It’s the first guitar I’ve bought that is set up and sounds great right out of the box ! For a squier and for the price it’s a great guitar and deal but even without it being a squier it’s a great guitar plays and sounds amazing the neck in particular feels great to play. There is perhaps no guitsr better than this when it comes to maximizing your dollars spent. You can certainly spend less, even $50 less, and get a noticeable drop in quality. You can also spend more and, while this would give you a better guitar, your money will not being going as far as it does here. Straight out of the box it is ready to go on tour. That's a lot to ask of any guitar <$1k. On top of that, the color is beautiful and the tonal capabilities are superb. I debated buying it for almost 2 years and in hindsight I just deprived myself of this great guitar for that much longer. Whether you're a beginner or a touring musician, this is a guitar worth your time and money. Lots of upgrades are available on the secondary market, but it is solid out of the box. Stop waiting.     • This Squire plays like a 1.5K guitar.
I can’t believe this guitar has this level of quality. I played a used one about a year and a half ago but I returned it, I think the previous owner had messed around with the original pickups. I loved how it played but the sound was not very good. I decided to buy it again because I had travel with it and I had made personal memories with it. Well I was surprised at how it sounded, the pickups are awesome and the craftsmanship is outstanding. I will not change a thing, the tuners are good, the bridge although is a 12 inch radius and the fretboard is 9.5 I can get a low action and It does not affect the playability whatsoever, it would be crazy of me to put my own take on the hardware when the guitar is killer the way it is. Best guitar purchase ever and I own 3K guitars. ... show more

I was shocked at how beautiful this guitar was in person. It is really stunning. Everything on it looks like it was meticulously finished. From Headstock down to the bottom strap peg everything is perfect. I also love all of the various sounds you can get from the switches, toggle and knobs. The pickguard looks great with the guitar as does the Kluson looking tuners. People have called this the best made Squire and I would have to agree. It looks and feels like an above $1000 Fender. Maybe because its a signature model, there are better components, but it really feel like it should cost way more. You won't be disappointed! ... show more

    • Perfect right out of the box
After tuning it played amazingly right out of the box. The feel of this neck is different than my strat or tele and I love it. Pickups are pretty hot for my 20 watt champion but sound great on the spark 40. This is my new favorite guitar and I'm glad it came on time with no issues.

Wasn't sure about a guitar than wasn't "real jazzmaster", but wow. The pickups are great (I love P90s), the neck is great, it looks super cool, it stays in tune, sounds good downtuned to D standard, sounds good clean or with loads of sludge. Nothing bad to say, except that I have not found a way to use the rhythm circuit, it just sounds dull, but I mostly use the bridge pickup which is bright and fiery. ... show more
