  • Love this waist trainer!
Size: X-Small Color: Black
I bought this a bit on a whim to see what all the fuss was about with the waist trainers. So many women have posted positive reviews. I have been working out a lot and want a rockin summer body this year! I've always been shaped a bit straight without a lot of curvy-ness. I have a small chest (34B) but in the past few years my hips have gotten wider. Part of that I think is getting in my "baby bearing" hips (I just turned 24) and the other part is of my own choice. I workout a lot and have added several inches to my backside with weight training. Anyway, I am pretty lean and in shape but I've always felt like my waist didn't reflect that so I thought I'd try this. Here are the rest of my measurements: 5'7", 135 lbs, and I started this with a 29" waist, measured at my "natural waistline" which is three fingers above your belly button. I usually wear a 27" in jeans and pants so that shows that you have to actually measure your waist for sizing. The first day I only wore it for a few hours and I was actually sore in my core and back. While this waist trainer isn't super intense, your body just isn't used to wearing something like this. It is flexible enough so that it isn't painful, but strong enough that it keeps your core engaged. The next day I was able to wear it quite a bit longer and have been wearing it for 8 hours/day at work since. March 12th was the first day that I wore it. This Thursday (March 26th) I'll have been using it for 2 weeks and as of right now I have already lost a half inch on my waist! I plan on waiting until Monday of next week (March 30th) to start wearing it on the next tightest hooks but I could do that for a few hours comfortably now if I wanted to. I have NOT been wearing this on the weekends or at the gym. I don't think it would be a good waist trainer for the gym, but I am currently looking for something like that. It has a soft rubber outside and soft cotton inside. You could wear it directly on your skin if you wanted to I think but I wear it over a cami. I work in an office all day and can tell a huge difference in my posture already. I haven't hunched over my keyboard since I got my Squeem! UPDATE (4/8/15): I have officially lost 2 inches from my waist. If I measure right after I take off the Squeem, it might be a little more but as I expected, this is not a permanent thing. Your waist does expand a little once you let it out of the corset/girdle (let's be honest, that's what this is :)). I do still like it though. 2 inches is quite a bit! I have been upping my cardio and weightlifting routine as well, but for not even having been wearing it a month, I'm happy with the results. I can see more definition in my stomach/abs also. I think I'll post pictures to this review soon. Maybe one showing what my stomach looks like normally, right after taking off the Squeem, and what it looks like when it's on. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • a fix for my perpetually bloated upper abdomen
Size: 1 XL Color: Black
Back in 2003, I had a tummy tuck. Unfortunately, this has left me with a severe bloating/swelling problem in my upper abdomen. I thought I'd just have to live with it and have spent countless days bemoaning my now alien appearance. Fast forward to this fall when I had to have my gallbladder removed. A few weeks later, I spent the day baking and ended up swelling up so big up there that it caused a hernia. That required another surgery and the surgeon told me that I had to keep the swelling down or I'd be right back in there. A trip to the local drug store found one of those abdominal binders that are velcro and made from elastic. Great idea, poor design. These stretch a pretty hefty amount after just a few wearings. And at $30 a pop, that's an expensive habit. So I set out to find something better. Hours of research and reading countless reviews of multiple products, I finally made my decision -- I would get a Squeem. My first one arrived and was too big. I returned that and got the next size down. Perfect! This thing is like magic. I put it on in the morning and take it off at night. When I go to bed, no more alien protruding upper abdomen! I have a nearly flat stomach now. That alone would make this a steller product in my book. To finally have a way to combat that swelling... such joy. Such gratitude! But the Squeem is more than just a fix to alien swelling. It's softly lined and comfortable. It's supportive in all the right ways. It helps with my posture. And it makes the girls perkier than they've been for years. Yes, it smells. A bit like taking the tire off the minivan and wrapping it around your middle. Or bottling the odor from the local tire shop and spritzing it onto your tummy. However, it's only noticeable to me. The first time I wore it out I was convinced that people were looking around wondering what that horrid rubber smell was. But when I got home, I asked hubby to take a whiff and though he put his nose within a few inches, he couldn't smell anything. He also said I was crazy, but that's another story. So don't let the smell get you down. It will fade over time and quite frankly, even if this smelled like a fully loaded baby diaper and was obvious to others, I wouldn't care. What does a bit of odor matter when aliens are being slaughtered? I am now another one of the many Squeem converts. And if you too suffer from post-tummy tuck upper abdominal swelling, this thing here will become your new best friend! ... show more
