I can't say it doesn't work, because it does. However, as a first-time user, I found it difficult to position the line exactly where I needed it. It performed much better on walls, but I purchased it primarily to help align new flooring, where it was more challenging to use.

Perfect for hanging, I used on non-tile to make sure pictures were leveled. Very easy to use. Super light weight, it's intended for tile or something needing suction. What would also be great is if they had a way to keep on a regular wall, like a tax or something. Multi-function and just used AA batteries
