It is a piece of phoam that is kinda hard to lay on. You people like like a more firm matress cover this is for you. It has support but again is hard to lay on due to it being so firm. Was looking for a softer matress topper. Definitely doesn't have the cloud feeling.

My husband and I bought a new mattress that felt soft while being supportive, but after about a month my husband complained of it being too firm and need just a little bit more softness. Instead of paying an addition $300 to $500 to upgrade our new mattress we opted to try this foam topper first. 1 inch doesn't sound like much, but it resovled the "too firm and not soft enough" problem. We slept on it the same day it arrived because the foam was not stinky like those memory foam toppers that off gas for about a week before you can sleep on them. I bought 2 of these- one for my 7 year old's bed, and one as cushion to go under our house-rabbits' bedding (for bunny foot health!). Shipping is 2 days from when they decide to ship it... which takes a few days. So if you need this ASAP, pick a different product. Apart from that though, these are about what you'd expect for the price. They're fine. They do add some cush, my daughter said her bed is a bit comfier, but when I lie down on that bed, the difference seems negligible to me. ... show more

I purchased the Twin size regular mattress topper. It was exactly one inch in depth as soon as I opened the package, so I didn't need to wait for it to expand after being folded/rolled in the plastic packaging. By my measurements, it's 38.5" x 75". The foam is white and has no smell. I'm not using it as a mattress topper. I'm using it as a cushion on an ottoman. It was easy to cut it with scissors to the size I needed. ... show more

I guess you get what you pay for. But I would advise you pass on this mattress topper. I purchased for my sons room, and the chemical smell is potent. I figured it would dissipate and left it laying flat to air out for several days. It fills any room it’s in with unbearable chemical smell: i gave it two weeks, even tried airing it outside, but just put it back in his room and it still smells like chemicals. Can’t even return because they want me to box it up. It came vacuum sealed, how am I supposed to put it back in a box? 🫠 ... show more
