I shopped around quite a bit before purchasing this sprayer and watched several YouTube videos before purchasing this sprayer. In terms of value for the money and the features this sprayer has, it’s very hard to beat. The straps and padding are far better than other make/model sprayers. The sprayer works great and has a long battery life. The only thing I didn’t care for was the lack of instructions as far as setting it up. It took a few times to figure how the straps go on, but this is only minor. I have used the sprayer to spray post emergent on the lawn and it didn’t take me long at all to do .59 acres of yard spraying. The top is easy to come off and place back on. I like the screen that keeps small particles to get in and possibly clog the sprayer. Battery is more than adequate. The wand is made of carbon fiber and the unit is pretty solid. There might be sprayers that are better, but you won’t find one this good for nearly the price! I highly recommend!

Understand that you will likely have to manually prime the pump! After that this sprayer works really well, and is comfortable. Be aware that the fittings are M18x1.5, not 11/16 as stated on their site. It does fit some teejet nozzles directly, but if you want to adapt to a qd fitting you need to get an m18x1.5 bushing

I purchased the SprayMate Shower Sprayer because it is a no pump sprayer and has a nozzle sprayer that is battery powered with a wide spray capacity. I was using a hand pump 2 gallon sprayer that I had to lug around my 5000 sq foot yard. It would take me 4 to 6 hours to spray my entire yard. Not to mention the number to times I had to refill and repump multiple times. With the SprayMatte Shower sprayer, I can fill the 4 gallon tank, use it as a back pack, refill the container 1 time and spray my entire lawn in 1 hour and 15 minutes. What a time saver!!! I cannot say enough great things about this machine. Now I look forward to spraying my lawn.

I had to return two of these Storm sprayers to Amazon because both were defective. The pump would run but no fluid would come out of the sprayer hose. Called SprayMate 3 times for help. When they called back they offered a work around not covered in the manual to try to prime the pump. Required disassembling part of the sprayer and forcing water into the pump with a garden hose. Really? Pump needs to be self priming and work out of the box without extraordinary procedures. The unit had the specs I wanted and appears to be well designed. But neither of the two I received would work.

The plastic fiber wand was defective and started leaking through micro cracks after the first use. The bore hole through the wand was off center so one side had a thinner wall than the other. I emailed the manufacturer and they sent a new wand to me. The new wand has no leaks and I've used the sprayer many times this season with no problems. I bought a red teejet so I can spray liquid fertiziler/nutrients like Next and Greene County mixtures. If there's no liquid coming out and the pump is definitely working, then there's probably an air bubble. While you have the trigger depressed, put your hand on the end to create suction (kinda like when you block the end of a vacuum cleaner) and it'll start pulling in the liquid into the pump. This happened to me the first time and only once so far, but I see comments about similar complaints and it's a 3 second fix. Not sure why they don't put this in the instruction booklet? If you flush it out with a lot of water after each use and keep good care of it, I don't see why it shouldn't last a long time. Use some plumbers tape on the threads and it should be leak free. One thing to note is 4 gallons is about 32lbs of weight, so keep that in mind. Make sure to fill it up while it's on a table with the straps out so you aren't pulling all of that weight off the ground. Flowzone makes the Spraymate line of products FYI.

I love this, wasn’t to sure about how long it would hold a charge, but it holds it well, I used four gallon before I lost charge Update! I used this one summer, this year got it out to use, wouldn’t spray anything out! Took it apart to clean, still wouldn’t work! Very disappointed!

I did my research and this is a little known gem. I’ve been using to apply my bio stimulants and pre emergent this Summer. Fits nice on my back, it’s not to heavy with 4 gallons of liquid and it sprays consistent pressure.

I have some fruit trees and have attempted to use sprayers with pumps. They are time consuming and therefore I wanted to purchase a sprayer that would enable me to spray my trees more efficiently. This sprayer is battery operated, efficient and exactly what I was looking for.
