I've used this bar for over a year and I've had no problems. I bought the 1-inch 7-foot-long size because I wanted to use all the cheap 1-inch standard size weights I've acquired over the years on a 5-foot wide bench. This was really the only bar I found in that size in this price range so I bought it. It's been a good bar I would definitely buy it again. I'm using the bar with IronMaster 1 inch plates and they fit perfectly. I have some Synergee 1 inch plates that are a little loose on it but I just put some electrical tape on the bar to beef it up a bit so they fit. Nice simple shipping packaging

The 5'bar arrived with the advertized measurements so that was good. It is to thin for the 1" spring clips to grab and hold the weight but 1" clamps worked just fine.

Bar came repackaged, no star locks. Looks kinda bent, threading not universal. Other locks do not seem to fit after 2 turns or so with multiple different name brand locks. Junk, I would not buy again. Never ordering this type of stuff online either. Just not worth it. This was my second attempt.

Bar is solid. I didn't realize that I bought a 7 foot bar and my weight room is pretty small so it's a tight fit but nonetheless a great buy. Bar starts flexing at around 200 pounds loaded on it.
