Our 6 year old loves this snow scooter. We saw them at a sledding party and knew we'd want to get our own. It works simple enough. The plastic is pretty sturdy. It packs flat, and it gives kids more confidence with sliding down hill. I think it can be a great beginner tool to move up to a snow board if you properly teach the kids how you steer with your feet and the weight of your body. I bought this for my 6 year old to use in our yard on the snow plow piles. It works great for that purpose! He loves it and has tons of fun with it. We have brought it to the sledding hill. It doesn’t work as well there. The edges of the board are too sharp, the bottom too thin so it cuts into the snow when there is any movement other than straight. This is in deeper, fresh snow. This is kinda like a snowboard with a handle. I was expecting scooter size but it’s way bigger, like a kids snowboard. Definitely a good value and seems very sturdy and well made.
