  • Taste good
Flavor Name: Variety Pack
I hate tonic waters or hydrating waters. To me they always taste slimy, salty, or worse like a watered down flavor with medicine. This powder was actually okay. Some of the flavors I didn’t like but that was just cause of the flavor. Such as cherry and raspberry but it was masked by a separate flavor in it so it was almost enjoyable. The raspberry lemonade was almost enjoyable because I loved lemonade but after a few slips I just didn’t find it worth it and couldn’t enjoy that. Other than the flavors themselves though the drink tasted great. You can still tell it’s a hydrating mixture but it was easy to use in a blender bottle and broke most of it up easily. I usually drink half of it than reshape just to make sure what settled gets broken up more. The packets give you so much so the amount of product you get per sleeve is great. Plus if you like the flavors than it really gives the full flavor its body by giving you so much of it. It tasted a smidge thick though at first but once you keep drinking it is fine. A great way to carry some electrolytes on the go. ... show more

  • It won’t replace my usual choice
Flavor Name: Passion Fruit
I’ve used Sports Research products for years and like them a lot, so I was excited to try this new hydration powder. I hoped it would become a one-step replacement for my current choices (Sugar-Free Liquid IV or Nuun and coconut water separately). To my disappointment, that didn’t turn out to be the case. This isn’t a bad hydration powder; it actually works quite well for me for rejuvenation, but it tastes extremely odd, though I can’t put my finger on why—all of the ingredients I’ve had in other places before without issue. I love coconut water and passionfruit, and I’m used to sugar-free items, but somehow, those things don’t work together in this product. Worse, it leaves a lingering metallic taste for more than ten minutes after I drink it. This is also the first hydration powder I’ve used that doesn’t fully mix, no matter how much I stir it, and I find that odd, too. The lumps in the bottom of my glass in the picture are after my second vigorous stirring. It’s not a waste of money, and if you like the flavor or can get past it, it actually offers more hydrating items than many alternatives on the market, but for me, I won’t get it again. ... show more

  • Great for Extra Hydration
Flavor Name: Cherry Pomegranate
I tend to not drink enough water, which is a problem because I am on my feet a lot. Hydrate Electrolyte Powder is the perfect solution. I don't like my water ice cold, so it mixes well with cool water--and its actually very tasty! It is not too sweet, and just flavorful enough. I appreciate the splash of coconut water in the formula as it blends well with the cherry and pomegranate flavor. I use another water flavoring product and often add a drop or two of that product to enhance the coconut water effect. I do drink this out of a glass tumbler to prevent any red staining; I don't know that this would happen if using with plastic tumblers, but given that I rarely finish my water, it can end up sitting on my desk for a couple of days and I don't want to risk it. A great product to help keep me hydrated even on days when I forget to drink my water! ... show more

  • Great for hydration, but salty!
Flavor Name: Lemon Lime
These hydration packets come in useful single serving packets, which I love for taking with me on the go and just for making it easier to portion out. They're great for if you work out a lot and also for if you had a late night out and are trying to recover. They've got a great range of vitamins and minerals, like the vitamin Bs! It's interesting that it utilizes powdered coconut water too. The only downside to them is the taste. Because of the 400mg of sodium, it tastes really salty! And the lemon lime doesn't really shine through. So, it's really effective, but not that fun to drink. ... show more

  • Big time flavor in these!
Flavor Name: Variety Pack
I have tried many types of electrolytes both in liquid and powder form. I require electrolyte supplementation daily beyond my food and water intake. The flavor of these is very strong and sweet, I would rate it in the area of gatorade but sweeter tasting. It has way more flavor than Liquid IV and other products that are lightly flavored. You can still taste the supplements somewhat, but if you want your electrolytes to taste like a treat then this is for you. I put this in a 16.9 oz water bottle that was not refrigerated. I did have a hard time getting it to dissolve and ended up letting it sit for about 10 minutes before I tried shaking it again and then it incorporated. I haven't compared the ingredient amounts to other brands, but if i were to assume the dosing is fairly similar I would say that the price of 23 dollars for 16 packets is not bad. ... show more

  • Electrolytes!
Flavor Name: Lemon Lime
Nice 16 pack of sports/electrolyte drink packets. Each packet delivers a host of vitamins, including C, B1, Niacin, B6, B12, biotin, pantothenic acid - and minerals (label states 65 trace minerals), including calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, chloride (pink Himalayan salt), sodium (sodium citrate/Himalayan salt), and potassium. Sodium total is 400 mg. This mix also contains 300 mg of coconut fruit powder. I was a bit surprised by how little powder each packet contained. Instructions provide to mix a packet in 10-16 ounces of water. Lemon/lime flavor is nice, light, clean, a bit salty, but refreshing. Perfect for pre/post workout - better than plain water as the electrolyte mix aids in better hydration and absorption. Good product. ... show more

  • Good flavor, not too sweet
Flavor Name: Variety Pack
We tried a couple of these and so far they're great. A couple of notes: 1) unlike most other electrolyte drinks, this one does not try too hard to cover the salty taste with sugar. You can taste the salt - it's not too strong but it's also not overwhelmed with the sugar/sweetness. The fruit flavoring is also not too strong. Children won't like this drink, but adults looking for extra electrolytes may. 2) the little packets are filled mostly with air. Not sure why; similar products are maybe a third the size. That said, they open nicely and it's not difficult to get all of the powder out, so maybe that's a net positive. All considered, I like this. ... show more
