  • Overpriced but sounds great
Style: PIPELINE TAP TREMOLO
This was my first tremolo pedal. The reason I ordered this instead of the Boss TR-2 is the volume knob--I've always heard about the (perceived) volume drop and wanted something to compensate for that. This gives you up to 6 dB of volume boost. I have to say, I was able to dial in to a "How Soon Is Now" tone right away. The overall tone is great; I'll take them at their word that it's a true bypass--but it's got a solid build and the knobs have precise tuning. I haven't done anything with the toneprint, which probably makes this overpriced if you don't intend on using that function. USB cable is included. But the footswitch has the most wonderful soft "click" which is gentle on your bare or socked foot when playing at home. ... show more

  • Did not last long.

This pedal worked good for about a year. Then, suddenly it makes a lot of noise. The thing was barely used, not even on my main board amd only rehearsed with one time. Not sure what went wrong with it, but I'm bummed because TC is a good brand and I liked the effect but now it adds so much throbbing fizz I cant even. ... show more

  • A really good Trem pedal.
Style: PIPELINE TAP TREMOLO
Edited review... i originally stated -Not a bad tremolo pedal. There is a tap function and there are some nice features. But i noticed that the tone of my guitar gets alot more treble to it when engaged. Because of that i am going to get a different Trem pedal.- But after i have explored the Tone Print software, i have fallen in love with this pedal. Originally i was only using the Vintage option, and it was essentially a harmonic type tremolo where it had a wave form going from high fequencies to lows (like the tweed fender amps). And thats what i was looking for,but the highs got rather treble-y. However, once i started experimenting with the tone print options, and the software, i found other settings there that had Harmonic Trems, and the SineOfTime option was what i was looking for. It does go between the high and low frequencies, but not to the extreme of the vintage option, and even had a bit of a warmer sound. So now im very happy with this pedal and it really works for a nice surfy sound. ... show more
