It can be a great piece of portable equipment for someone who can use feedback from the rope. It’s got a nice weight to it, stores easily. And very nice looking. Note: have patience when adjusting for your size. Work on a table top or even the floor because the beads will become unstrung.

The jump rope looks nice but unfortunately after the very first use the beads cracked/broke (see pictures). My other beaded ropes I’ve had for awhile haven’t cracked at all so I can only assume they’re using low quality plastic.
