Actually, purchased this suit twice. It fit well and was comfortable. I was shocked that I could be comfortable in something so revealing but anything that draws attention from my legs to my upper half is a bonus! ha. I misplaced the first suit after a cruise and wanted it again a couple of months later for a trip to Florida, so I had to order another. It seems to be good quality, non-transparent. It's a true black and doesn't have high cut hips which is something I do not like. I would buy this again and hope to wear it again this summer, if I can find it. :/

I can’t believe in all the review photos there aren’t any of this blue/white/red one! It’s SO beautiful! And the ruffle is RED UNDERNEATH! not basic white like all the others - which looks weird in some colors. Plus, the ruffle is thick and seamed and seems good quality as compared to the thinner non-seamed ruffle in the non-belted version of this suit (see product photos and if you look closely you can see this). Also, the ruffle doesn’t go down as far in this belted version as it does in the non-belted version which will be better when wet (look closely at product photos) plus the belt is also red! The belt is NOT removable (the listing states it is but it’s not on this one). I suppose maybe you could cut it off but I actually like it. Also, this one does not have the tie in back like the longer ruffle version and I was worried it would slip off my shoulders (I’m usually a fan of racerback or crisscross backs for this reason as I have a wide back) but it doesn’t slip off my shoulders at all. I’m 5’3” and 188 lbs. the butt is pretty high cut and rides up a bit. Wish it wasn’t as high cut. I love the pattern which I feel hides more than solid colors if you know what I mean. This might be my new favorite suit! I recently lost some weight and am switching from tankinis to one piece suits. I’m VERY large chested and feel this thicker belted version gives me plenty of support and I love that it’s so low cut which I feel shows off one of my best features lol. I got an XL. Last thing - the blue and white pattern could be more even/symmetric because the lack of this makes the swimsuit look somewhat uneven on your body - this being said I still love it

I actually bought this 2 years ago, but since it's still heavily sold on the site, I thought I'd throw in my $0.02. For reference, 5'1", 150 lbs, purchased a Medium. Pros: - Feminine, good angle/cut above the legs, provides pretty good booty coverage - low-cut v-neck design is sexy/flattering but still okay for a 40-something - tons of great patterns/colors to choose from Cons: - Torso is slightly too long for petite women. The tie in the back helps, but sometimes when I dip my shoulder I have to pull it back up. - I wish the ruffles were a bit thinner (3-4" in width versus 4-5"). For my height, the ruffles can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. I also have slightly broader shoulders, and the ruffles kind of accentuate that which I'm not fond of. - Ruffles can also conflict with tan lines... I find myself tucking the ruffles in around my shoulders if I'm sunbathing.

This is my first amazon purchase review ever and it's all because of this AMAZING one piece. I'm in my late 20's and realized that I need a solid one piece in my life that doesn't make me look older. I came across this one and had read the reviews about it thinking it would be great. The reviews are proven to be true because this one piece is sexy, feels great, and hugs in all the right areas. I'm 5'7 and around 150/ curvy and got a medium and it fits like a glove. If you're looking for a one piece that won't break the bank this is the one!

I ordered several of this style in various prints to decide which is most flattering and plan to keep one. I have a large chest (DD), and will say that there is not support for the "girls." There are circular (why not triangular for better coverage/fit?) foam pad inserts inside of a triangular pocket. Due to the V cut of the suit the foam pads do not cover the breast fully and you have to adjust them. With the ruffle covering that area, I will try taking them out as they seem rather irrelevant unfortunately. The style is flattering, more so than average suit w/o a ruffle for those of us with a fuller figure. The ruffle and V cut are forgiving. Given the lack of bust support, I think this suit is beautiful for sunbathing/lounging but NOT for greater activities (water sports, actual swimming). Regarding coverage of the rear, it is ample coverage, showcasing just a peek of cheek and a modern cut at the leg (like in picture shown which is NOT this suit, just an example of butt coverage). I am used to fuller coverage with high leg cut, so I do tend to pull on it (I just ordered and have not worn it out yet), but think I will get used to it. I am 5'9" with 43" (DD), 40," 47" measurements and the XL is what I ordered and is a good fit.
