Well, at first they were attracted by the ball. But as soon as it stopped moving, they walked off. I ended up shooting the entire bag (a lot of balls - 25-30) at them, and no reaction! Yawn. Then I had to crawl under tables and chairs to clean up! Lol. No idea if other cats would like. My Ragdolls are 4 yrs. Maybe they think it’s for kittens? It’s a nice toy, my cats are the duds!

This has become an absolute hit in our household with our two cats. this toy requires no batteries. In a world filled with electronic gadgets, this is a refreshing change. It's ready to use whenever our feline friends are in the mood for some fun, and I don't have to worry about recharging or replacing batteries. The toy comes with an impressive arsenal of fifteen soft Pom Pom balls, each in a variety different colors. These little balls are not only adorable but also perfect for our cats. The moment we loaded one into the chamber and sent it flying, their eyes went full black pupils with excitement. Watching our cats chase after these colorful projectiles is pure joy. They pounce, leap, and twist in the air, trying to catch the Pom Poms with their agile paws. It's hilarious to see their determination as they bat, swat, and occasionally somersault while attempting to hit the balls. My cat loves balls, he loves having me throw them for him.. he doesnt always chase after them, lol. He mostly likes watching them. This works great except it makes a loud pop everytime you shoot it. The noise is loud enough to startle my cat if im too close to him. So i wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has a skiddish cat or a cat afraid of loud noises.

This was a gift to my daughter and her two cats. Many of the foam balls (which I would call pom-poms) needed are included, but it's always a good idea to have extra on hand because they disappear quickly. It also comes with a gun for firing the balls. It's simple to operate, but it's also just a cheap novelty that won't survive forever. The cats chase after the balls, but since the gun is so inaccurate, the balls end up all over the place and even under furniture. I think it's best used in an open area to try and keep them somewhat together. This is exciting for both people and canines, comes at a low price, and is easy to operate. I wouldn't use it every day because they might get bored.
