It’s not the most expensive reel
Color: Red Size: 4000
Works as it should and the price was right. Haven’t used it yet so don’t know much about its cheap Chinese durability.

Smooth Reel and Solid Build
Color: Red Size: 6000
I’ve been enjoying this spinning reel so far. It feels solid in the hand, the metal spool and alloy handle give it a nice sturdy feel, and it casts smoothly with good distance. The deep spool is also a nice feature when you need extra line capacity. Overall, a good reel for the price and a nice addition to my fishing gear. ... show more

Surprisingly Smooth Budget Reel
Color: Red Size: 3000
The SylvanFlux spinning reel, sized 3000, with 13+1 bearings and a 5.2:1 gear ratio has been an impressive find, especially at the very low price of 17.90. The black and red design looks sharp, and the reel feels much more refined than I expected for the cost. It is smooth on the retrieve, casts well, and has the kind of balanced feel I normally associate with reels that cost many times more. For something priced at less than one eighth of my higher end spinning reels, the performance is surprisingly close. I paired this reel with a spinning rod dedicated to younger guests such as nieces and nephews who sometimes join me on fishing trips. At this price point, I do not cringe when they drop the setup while netting a fish or keep reeling when they are snagged. The reel still performs well and gives them a smooth experience that makes fishing more enjoyable. It is reliable enough for regular use, yet inexpensive enough that I do not worry about wear and tear from beginners. ... show more

Put thread-lock on the knob screw, then enjoy!
Color: Red Size: 6000
This is an awesome reel that mirrors the feel of some of my super expensive ones. My only complaint and the reason for 3 stars is the knob came off in my hand the first time I used it and the screw fell in the water. I have the knob still but no replacement screw is available even with customer service help. If you get one, take the knob off, put thread-lock on the screw and put the knob back on. You'll be happy with it! ... show more

If you're looking for a reliable spinning reel, this all-metal model with 13+1 bearings might just be what you need. It stands out for its solid construction and smooth operation, making it suitable for beginners and seasoned fishermen alike. The reel’s full metal body gives it a sturdy, durable feel that can handle the wear and tear of frequent use. One of its key features is the 13+1 bearing system, which ensures remarkably smooth retrieves and reduces friction during casting and reeling. This not only makes fishing more enjoyable but also less tiring over long sessions. The deep spool is another highlight, allowing you to hold more line, which is especially handy when targeting larger, stronger fish or fishing in deeper waters. The large knob adds extra comfort and grip, giving you better control and precision when reeling in your catch, even with gloves on or wet hands. Overall, this spinning reel balances strength, smoothness, and user comfort very well. Whether you’re casting from shore or a boat, its features support a reliable and satisfying fishing experience. If durability and smooth operation are what you value most, this reel is definitely worth considering for your tackle box. ... show more

Good reel at a really good price. Smooth and solid.
Color: Red Size: 4000
Works great at a really good price. I brought this down to my neighborhood pond to test it out with a new rod, and it works very well. It is smooth and solid, and it operates just as I would expect it to. I unfortunately have not had the opportunity to use it for large fish yet, but it works better than other reels that I have bought around this price, and as well as some reels that cost quite a bit more. The gate is a bit stiffer than others, but I actually like that because it does not feel like a weak point at all. ... show more
