For the price, you can’t go wrong with this reel! Only twice has the drag had a 50 pound plus fish on it neither of which I landed unfortunately but the fact that the drag screamed with a beautiful sound was amazing. The bail spring is weak so as you use this reel, you’re gonna have to leave the bail open by placing it parallel to the ground so it doesn’t spring back shut on a long, hard cast and if you can remember this, everything else is positive for this reel and I will buy more ... show more

I use quite a few expensive Stella, Twinpower, sustain and stradic reels. This cheapo reel is not as refined, polished or smooth as an expensive reel but way better than a Walmart plastic package reel you would get for this price!

For a while, it was working great until maybe a month in and it started spooling really unevenly towards the bottom and I couldn’t get any way to fix it. Other than that. It works good. I took it on the charger and caught a few calico bass Bonito, mackerel, and a halibut, it will definitely work for a solution, but I do not think it would be a good long-term and will definitely give out on you after sometime at first. I thought it was worth the money but after a month or two it really started showing science of poor quality. I still use the real sometimes when I’m just going for stingrays or just waiting and invading it’s not really a casting real kind of just a beater set up that I wouldn’t mind getting messed up. The drag is great. The size is great just quality issue ... show more
