The SPIKECAM body-camera seems great which is why I ordered it. The camera features include: an advertised record time of 10 hours battery wise, an advertised resolution of 1080, night vision, video, audio, rubber sealed buttons, and many more features. I have 2 big issues with this camera: 1- The lens cover is plastic and arrived with scratches and it's very flimsy, which seems counterintuitive to a body-cameras intended use. 2- (and the big problem) This camera has some kind of audio defect when recording video only. Every video I've recorded has crackling and electrical interference "noise" the entire video, no matter what the settings are accompanied with an expensive SD (formatted correctly) that I purchased thinking "included" SD cards are usually quick to have issues. Nothing solved the issue, here's the weird part...when recording audio only...crystal clear audio recordings. Based on my first experience, the aforementioned issues, and the nature of this device (collecting evidence in a bad situation), I absolutely cannot recommend this product. For near this items price, you can do better (this is my 2nd body-camera and I am an electronics hobbyist in case anyone suspects my knowledge of this device and my ability to operate it correctly). Pass. -Update- I base my reviews from a first impressions standpoint, as if I were another new customer so I will not change my review of this product. I will say, all things being fair; I promptly received a response to my review and was offered a full refund no questions asked. I feel that gesture warranted a mention here.

I don't know what else to say except WOW!! What a product!! This thing works! And it works great! Small compact little body cam, perfect for those who walk daily and have to maybe do their exercise in a not so good neighborhood and want to be able to record while they are walking... or just to have on your body during your daily activities... for a "just in case" situation that may arise. Takes pictures, records video and also records audio. Has night vision and etc. I loooove the fact that it comes with a power cord and charging box (most companies send out cords but no boxes...) aaannnddd it comes with a 64 GB memory card already installed into the cam. Plus a usb flash drive where you can insert your memory card into the side of the flash drive and put that into your laptop or computer and upload the files you have. I love this product!!! Absolutely love it! I will wear this everywhere. Lol! 5 stars all the way!!!

This is a pretty good body cam considering the very low cost. It's not the smallest I've seen or used, but it's not obnoxiously large either. It does have a screen on it, which makes it larger, but that also adds convenience and ability to review footage on the unit itself rather than having to hook it up or connect it to something just to review footage. It's quite lightweight. The durability, construction seems ok. I worry a bit about it in a case of abuse, harsh conditions, which sometimes happens in situations where you would need a body cam. I haven't stress/abuse tested it, but it seems ok so far as long as you don't extreme stress test it. It clips on to stuff fine. It holds a charge fine. Imagine, video quality is decent enough. It's easy enough to set up and use. Not sure how much a deterrence the lights and siren are, but it's a nice option. It's not super wide angle, but field of vision is not bad, especially considering the low cost. The night vision is ok. The memory card it comes with has small capacity, but you can easily pop in different cards. This isn't the greatest body cam around, but considering the low cost, this is a good value. You can definitely do a lot worse.
