The strap is somewhat more narrow than the picture indicates and isn't very thick. A 10+lb rifle will max out this strap's ability to be "comfy" to carry a long distance. I wouldn't recommend using this strap on anything any heavier than 6lbs at the most and certainly not on a LONG WALK.

Great price. Great sling for a .22 or .17 Mag. I was truly impressed when I recieved it. Did not expect the quality it is. Very comfy on the shoulder. One caveat, its not real big/expandable. So if your a big fella or lady be sure of the adjustment range.
