This iPad case is exactly what I have been looking for, something with a clear back that allows the pencil to be easily accessible. Pros: - The pencil does charge for me, and I have no issues with it. - The case also IS able to stand and a hard surface like a table. - The pencil is very easy to grab, especially in times where it is on a music stand. Cons: - The back is very glossy and is a fingerprint magnet. - The outer black “folio bit” of the case feels a little cheap to me but is still decent. - On soft surfaces like a mattress or some form of cushion, the stand can collapse (It did that to me a few times) Overall though this is still a good case, its protective and looks decent all for a relatively low price. The Otterbox Symmetry Case may be better (I haven’t bought it) in materials but seems to be the same as this otherwise, definitely a good case!

I'm a huge fan of Spigen products--I've been buying them for my iPhones for years and have always been impressed. This iPad cover is similarly impressive in production and material quality. The cover is slip resistant and fits like a second skin for your iPad. The pencil holder is wonderfully designed. The back and sides are sturdy and secure but don't make the iPad feel bulky or heavy. Excellent fit and great construction. My complaint is the "stand" aspect. It simply doesn't work. The cover is supposed to wrap around itself to make a triangle shape upon which the iPad is intended to rest to achieve an upright orientation. That's not gonna happen. If the stars align perfectly, and you don't touch the iPad screen, and there isn't a breeze in your house, it might stay upright, but mostly it just falls flat. Great product otherwise, just don't buy this if you need it to stand.

Had the case now for two months and to be honest I wish I didnt buy it. I have to take off the case anytime I want to charge my apple pencil and figuring out how to make that flimsy flap stay to work as a stand is a pain. Also the fact that it doesnt magnetize somewhere and is a loose flap when you're using the ipad while holding is annoying. The good is that the case looks aesthetically pleasing, the clear backing is really nice. I love this kind of case for my iPhones but not for the iPad. Spigen has always been very sturdy and well built for me, I just dont love the flap/cover.

I really like this case. Slim and light and doesn't get in the way. My only complaints are the flap that holds it shut is kind of irritating to get undone as it lays completely flat against the device and it looks identical to the other side so sometimes I get them mixed up. Also, the front cover, when turned into a tent to prop it up, isn't the strongest and it often slips when it's not completely flat or even slightly misaligned. But both of those things are pretty minor compared with the positives!

The case itself it very nice. Sleek, sturdy and you can show off your ipad with the transparent back. The only bad thing i found was that the apple pencil doesnt charge. It sticks to it but doesnt charge. Major downside since I always want it charged without taking that side of the cover off to charge it.
