Magnet is strong and located in the correct place (the G logo should not be in the center of the ring but rather towards the top) compared to other cases. I've seen clear cases start yellowing after a couple of weeks but this has been holding up pretty well. The only complaint is that sometimes you can feel like a small air pocket on the sides. I don't know if this is intentional to help with shock absorption since I've never had any case do that before, but I also don't really care about it since it's so minor, not worth taking a star off. ... show more

The case is great! Works awesome! Unfortunately, the metal MagSafe ring is glued to back of case instead of embedded inside of the case itself, causing it to eventually peel and fall off the case. Mine lasted 6 months. I tried using double-sided tape to carefully put it back on, meticulously tracing around the ring with an X-acto knife, and it fell off again. Save the trouble and buy a case with the MagSafe ring **embedded into the case** instead, such as "JETech Magnetic Case for Google Pixel 8 Pro," which is much better! ... show more

The case is really good and what would you expect from Spigen! the magnets are in the correct position as the cads online shows too, and I tried it with my witeless charger in the car and it was just great with strong magnets. it works great with Spigen screen protector for my P8P. Can’t say much about the yellowing I just got the case, but its expected on the long run I think. Recommended! Worth it. ... show more

    • slick, falls out of shirt pocket often

I've been a Spigen case user for many years, many phones - they are pretty much my go-to brand. I got a pixel 8 pro and this time I wanted the magfit ring in the case like my SOs iphone case. One problem - only this hybrid clear case had the builtin ring (works for that purpose). What I found about the case was that it is slippery in a pocket. Specifically a shirt pocket. My typical go to case is one of the armor styles. They have a bit more friction and overall I just prefer their style. Anyways, this clear case being more slippery also meant that it was falling out of my shirt pocket anytime I bent over for any reason - just wouldn't stay put. I did end up purchasing my preferred armor style with an add-on magfit ring and back to my phone staying put. Anyways, nothing inherently bad about the case, just know that it is slick. ... show more

It's really tough to find a great mad safe case with strong magnets that is suitable for Pixel phones. I prefer this over the Dbrand Ghost 1.0 case. They are planning to release the 2.0. As of now this is what I'm rocking! Feels thick enough to protect the phone from the drops so far I had. The magsafe is way better than the 1.0 case, it's comparable to the torras cases which are also great. Buttons are raised so it's easy to tell what you're pressing on the side controls. I ordered this for a work phone. Its built very well, and holds the phone securely. I would highly recommend. I'm not sure what they are talking about fingerprint reader? The case is on the back, and the reader is built into the screen.
