I bought this case hoping because I wanted something slick that would also protect my tablet and allow me to use the keyboard from the Book Cover. While this case does exactly that and hits every single one of those tick marks, I do have a few complaints. I was hoping that the model that I received was from a new batch that did not have the S-pen interference issue. Unfortunately, this issue is still present. That said, I have only encountered the issue once and it was very mild. The issue was also remedied after turning the screen on and off. Kickstand is nice to have, but it's extremely hard to deploy. There's no way you can one-handle deploy it. It wobbles at maximum length, making it useless for me. The pen is hard to take out. It doesn't keep the pen well against the charging port( but that's Samsung's fault for providing a very weak magnet). ... show more

I've bought exclusively Spigen cases for my phone's for years, so when I saw this pop up, I jumped on it. However, it feels... cheap. For 50 bucks at least. Plastic feels cheap, the fit is slightly loose at the top of the S8 Ultra, resulting in a small gap near the camera that doesn't look very nice. Haven't had the magnet issues yet that others have mentioned. The lip of the kickstand is a bit tedious to lift up, but the kickstand itself seems sturdy. Every aspect of the product advertising makes it seems as it comes with a keyboard. Instead, they expect you to buy a $300 dollar case and use a different stand with it. Don't be fooled. Otherwise, the case is great.

Initial impressions are good. The removable piece is a little finicky at first but when you put the tablet in it feels pretty solid. The kickstand is really stiff so it can hold up at pretty much any angle you want. I wonder how long the kickstand stay like that? Hopefully it won't become loose and flimsy. My case arrived slightly damaged. The plastic near the power button was slightly deformed, I'm not sure if it was damaged from the factory or from shipping. Overall this seems to be my favorite case so far. I would give it 5 stars if it were more affordable. ... show more

I was really glad that I found this one that is similar to the Samsung genuine case and lighter weight but compatible with keyboard as well. However, after a day of use, I started to find critical down sides and there are 2. 1. There is magnet that doesn't compatible with Gal' Tab S8 Ultra and that interrupt S-pen recognition. This is really critical if you are trying to write at the spot where the magnet is... 2. This is much more critical... on the second day, the tablet was malfunctioning that the screen doesn't turn on properly. It turns on after several time of clicking the power button or double taping the screen. However, that only last for 1 sec. I can't do anything because it keeps turns off. First I thought something broken. However, as soon as I take off from the case, it works fine. So, I tried put my tablet on the back of the case. As soon as it contacted the case, the screen went out and doing the same thing. It is breaking my tablet. I love Spigen. I used their brand ever since I had iPhone3GS... I bought this case because I loved the Spigen case for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. It was great. Thus case does not provide the same level of protection when I want to throw the tablet in my backpack. There is no real protection for the screen. Maybe it is designed to work if you have a keyboard. The 8 ultra is a tablet not a notebook. I NEED a cover for the screen. Not only is the design not sufficient, the price is almost 50% higher than the cover for the 7 plus. I got it today, it is going back tomorrow. ... show more
