These work pretty well. The night vision works surprisingly well. The head band is relatively comfortable. I have not tried these on an ACH so I do not know how well they work but there is a mount that these came with that looks surprisingly similar to that which comes with the AN/PVS-14. I will not compare this unit to the 14s since there is no comparison. In this price range, these seem to do pretty well. One thing I do not like and find pretty dangerous is that these are magnified (4x I think) and designed to be hand-free. If you strap these to your head and try to walk around, you are likely to trip since you can't see your feet. I would also like to see the ability to dim the display so you can still see when you take them off. Another benefit that would be nice would be having the bottom mount hole offset to facilitate mounting this to a rifle. All in all I really think this could have some improvements but it is not bad. ... show more

So for a hobby or airsoft or something, this thing is fine. The illuminator can't be dimmed enough to be very useful inside a building but works fine in an open field. It's useless to be used while firing a weapon and since there's only one lens, you have no depth perception. The screen is also very small and has too much magnification to be used for anything close. That said, it does see in complete darkness. I think it's a decent backup mid-range telescope but you're not gonna be able to do much else with them. They're 1/10th or 1/20th of real night vision though so it all depends on what you want to use them for. As far as night vision in general as most people would think of it, these don't cut it. As far as digital night vision goes though, these are more than adequate ... show more

I don't know what to expect with night vision goggles. It is very easy to see in the dark with these, which is really cool. I just wandered around the yard to check them out. I could easily read signs that I have out and easily see obstacles that I couldn't even begin to see with the naked eye. I wish they weren't so zoomed in at the furthest away setting. These will definitely help our predator disposal for our farm animals, though! ... show more

I wish I liked it better. I have had other night vision googles at half the price point and appear to be of equal quality. The housing is plastic, the screen is clear but has limited adjustability and the head strap doesn’t add much value. I used an infrared flashlight and extended the working distance considerably, however, the screen was easily overwhelmed by the light source. The product works but is limited in its use. Over all the googles work but feel like a toy in many ways. ... show more
