    • Durable case and easy to use keyboard

I originally purchased this for my wife when she received her 3rd Gen iPad Pro. She liked the idea of a case and having a keyboard as well. As this is two items, I will review separately: Case: I am very pleased with the case and it's apparent durability. The iPad was fairly easy to insert into the case and feels pretty secure in that it won't slip back out. The case folds over easily and does not show any weakening in the fold creases like many other cases start to after a few uses. Even though this case only fits the 3rd gen iPad (2018), there are slots in the case for 1st gen Apple pencil. This is okay as the 2nd Gen pencil easily fits securely into this slot for storage. Note: The pencil will not charge in this location. There is an indent at the top of the case and the pencil will easily sit there and charge. The magnetic strength of through the case is pretty strong and the pencil will not fall off on its own. Finally, as mentioned, the case does not have an auto-sleep ability to put the iPad to sleep when closed. This will need to be set up manually with the System Settings but is fairly easy to do and does not in any way take away from the other features of the case. Keyboard: I was kind of surprised with the keyboard when we first received it. It seems more durable than other mobile keyboards I have previously used and cost way more. The keyboard is a QWERTY keyboard and easy to use, even for those not tech savvy. There are 3 sections for lighting and each one can be set to the same or different colors. As noted in the description, the keyboard uses Bluetooth v3.0. This is not the latest but should be sufficient for most people and delays will be barely noticeable unless you are typing over 100wpm. I state this because of the negative reviews I saw in regards to this and want to clarify that most people will barely notice, if at all, any delay when typing. Initial connection was quick and easy and, like the lights, the keys are clearly marked for the purpose. The only negative thing I can say about the keyboard is the instructions may not be clear enough and are pretty basic. This will be okay for most people, but if you are not familiar with pairing devices or function keys, there may be some confusion. Overall: I am extremely pleased with the quality and value of the case and keyboard. I have been in the IT industry for over 20 years, so this can sometimes be hard to do. If you are looking for a nice, durable, and easy to use case/keyboard combo but do not want to spend a ton of money for similar products, I would highly recommend this one. TLDR: If a combination wireless keyboard and case is what you're looking for, look no further. Just get this one. I've waited a while to write this review to see how it has held up, and I'm not disappointed. It looks as if the company has done a bit of an update to the rubber casing since I purchased but I'm gonna tel you the things I like and the things I don't like. Let's be real, you probably want to know about the keyboard. Well I love it. I didn't think I'd really use the different color aspects of it but they're actually quite fun and I like it. I love that it's magnetic and also completely removable. Sometimes I just don't need a keyboard with my ipad. The buttons are responsive, they keyboard is laid out exactly as it needs to be for an ipad. Super easy to connect to bluetooth. Once connected, if it falls asleep merely takes a few seconds after a tap to wake it back up. SUPER easy to pair to a different device if you want to switch and use it on your phone or another ipad. Somehow my capslock key did get switched to be the toggle between languages key, not sure if it came like that or if I somehow changed it without knowing. The rubber around the case is excellent. Sturdy corners that feel like I'm protecting my ipad without covering it in something super bulky. The buttons are super easy to use. The spot for the apple pencil is also excellent. I love storing it and having a place to charge it (although it would be nice if I could charge it while it's in it's little holder spot). The outer case. I got mine in blue. I love the color for the outside. The rubber is still black. but it goes with the grey interior nicely. The cutouts for the viewing angles are nice and sturdy. The case is flexible to be placed in multiple locations while propping up the ipad. I love that the case is magnetic to hold the keyboard. It folds up super flat and I can easily slide it in a backpack or bag. Even when folded up the keyboard doesn't leave any scratches on the screen. The magnetic flap on the outside that covers the camera is sturdy and not overkill. The case (as you can see from the pictures) can easily be flipped around so that you can hold the whole thing without a keyboard. My only issue with this is (see the second to last picture) is that sometimes you can pick it up and the case is just so long. It dangles down from the rubber case. For me, that's not a huge issue. But for someone like my husband, who doesn't have his propped up all the time, and just wants to grab his ipad and start using it, that could be an issue. And the other big issue, it's hard to use the ipad in portrait orientation. It's designed to function like a little laptop. And it does that excellently. So if you're the person who uses their ipad mostly in a standing up, want a little removable and effective keyboard, and feel like you want a case that isn't hard plastic, this is the case for you. If you're the kind of person who mostly uses their ipad like, well like a tablet, and you use it with just the screen, switch between portrait and landscape orientation, and don't anticipate doing a ton of typing, then this might not be for you. ... show more

BUY NOW! This keyboard was everything I needed. The number one benefit is the price. Apple’s magic keyboard is about $130, so this keyboard in comparison is a better bang for your buck. Upon receiving the keyboard, I did have a minor issue with one of the keys coming off and not staying on, so I messaged the support team and they got back to me very quickly and resolved my issue by sending a replacement which I received very quickly as well. I was surprised at how helpful and responsive the support team was. I love the LED backlighting because it makes it easy to see the keys, its a very nice addition to the keyboard, since the magic keyboard does not have LED lighting, so typing in the dark is very difficult with Apple’s keyboard. Getting the keyboard connected was also easy, just follow the instructions. I like how you can use the case without the keyboard if you choose to. The keys feel and type just like a normal computer. The keyboard is also very sturdy and offers great protection. Works well with a screen protector. The charge lasts pretty long, can hold charge for up to about a week if you have heavy use like me. I just charge it whenever I remember to. I love the 12 month extended warranty that this product offers, which is why I was able to get a replacement. I will not go back to the magic keyboard. The LED lights are BEAUTIFUL! And you can have 3 different colors showing at once, which is something you don’t find very often. Don’t waste your money on an expensive keyboard!
