I originally purchased this for my wife when she received her 3rd Gen iPad Pro. She liked the idea of a case and having a keyboard as well. As this is two items, I will review separately: Case: I am very pleased with the case and it's apparent durability. The iPad was fairly easy to insert into the case and feels pretty secure in that it won't slip back out. The case folds over easily and does not show any weakening in the fold creases like many other cases start to after a few uses. Even though this case only fits the 3rd gen iPad (2018), there are slots in the case for 1st gen Apple pencil. This is okay as the 2nd Gen pencil easily fits securely into this slot for storage. Note: The pencil will not charge in this location. There is an indent at the top of the case and the pencil will easily sit there and charge. The magnetic strength of through the case is pretty strong and the pencil will not fall off on its own. Finally, as mentioned, the case does not have an auto-sleep ability to put the iPad to sleep when closed. This will need to be set up manually with the System Settings but is fairly easy to do and does not in any way take away from the other features of the case. Keyboard: I was kind of surprised with the keyboard when we first received it. It seems more durable than other mobile keyboards I have previously used and cost way more. The keyboard is a QWERTY keyboard and easy to use, even for those not tech savvy. There are 3 sections for lighting and each one can be set to the same or different colors. As noted in the description, the keyboard uses Bluetooth v3.0. This is not the latest but should be sufficient for most people and delays will be barely noticeable unless you are typing over 100wpm. I state this because of the negative reviews I saw in regards to this and want to clarify that most people will barely notice, if at all, any delay when typing. Initial connection was quick and easy and, like the lights, the keys are clearly marked for the purpose. The only negative thing I can say about the keyboard is the instructions may not be clear enough and are pretty basic. This will be okay for most people, but if you are not familiar with pairing devices or function keys, there may be some confusion. Overall: I am extremely pleased with the quality and value of the case and keyboard. I have been in the IT industry for over 20 years, so this can sometimes be hard to do. If you are looking for a nice, durable, and easy to use case/keyboard combo but do not want to spend a ton of money for similar products, I would highly recommend this one. In fact, I ended up purchasing a second one for my new iPad.

While I do not have the iPad quite yet, I can happily comment on this case. It is very sturdy and the color is perfect! I’ve seen much more expensive (and ugly) cases that feel flimsy in comparison to this behemoth. I love the size of it and the included pencil storage! It should not be easy for me to misplace either ipad or pencil, which is a major plus for me. The texture of the material feels very nice to the touch and the click of the keyboard is nice as well. The magnetic closure and keyboard attachment are very secure, having passed a shake and kitten test. Some buyers have commented on a scent and mine doesn’t have one. It passed a very thorough sniff test. It arrived packaged very securely and neatly. The included instructions will also prove to be helpful for someone as tech impatient as myself, kudos to Chesona for including the troubleshooting and contact information. The instructions also include pictures. If I HAD to have a complaint it would be about the charge cable. It is roughly 2 ft in length and I find that a bit on the shorter side. Thankfully microUSB are everywhere and I could probably find one to match the color of the case too! Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase! I wish I had the iPad already to give a more detailed review but oh well. If you are on the fence about this case, go for it! It’s at a great price, it is sturdier than some of the more expensive cases out there, and it looks really good. Plus you can’t beat the pencil charging and storage. Just know if you are like me and prefer longer charge cables you will have to get one yourself. Small price to pay. Update: Ipad obtained. Case is a perfect fit and the pencil storage is great. Its super easy to charge the pencil as well. Would recommend case to friends, coworkers, random strangers.

The iPad 11 pro is great as a business tool, enabling me to do much of my day to day work remotely while still having the PC for heavy duty stuff. That requires having the right combination of keyboard and cover. The keyboard cover supplied by apple works well, i have one for another iPad. However the apple keyboard is 3x more expensive, not as durable and not as flexible as the Chesona. Highly recommended, particularly if you are thinking of the iPad as a dual use machine. Here is why As a business tool, the availability of the keyboard is great. Its a good keyboard with sufficiently large keys that provide good action. The fact that the keyboard is not attached to the cover is a real plus as you can move the keyboard back from the cover for more comfortable typing. The keyboard has a magnet that holds it in place with the cover which is nice. This is a blue tooth connected keyboard so you will have to pair it and manage to charge it separately, but these are minor inconveniences. I have been using the keyboard for more than a month on its original charge. As a cover, the Cessna provides good protection, looks smart and is easy to grip. The cover folds over the end of the iPad holding the pencil in place. There is also a tray built into the cover to hold the pencil and some other things without charging it up. Since you can remove the keyboard, the cover doubles as an effective ipad cover for using the pen based applications or just propping up to watch a movie. The one downside of the case is that it does not appear to shut off the iPad when you close it. At least that is not working for me. Overall I am glad I made this purchase as its the best value as a business tool and leisure tool for your iPad.
