I have had this light in my m² grow tent for a year. I grow autoflowers and Hot peppers. I am not supplementing CO2 so the light is fine for starting all my seeds and growing seedlings for a few months until the weather is good outdoors. I NEED a dimmer, and this one works fine. No problems after one year. Light gets pretty warm at full power. I have run an auto fully under this light due to overflow, and it was fine. I think this is the best light for the money for a 3x3. I could grow full life cycle autos under this, mother plants, and more. I rarely have it on 100%, and I like being able to adjust the dimmer instead of moving the height of the light. (I'm disabled, so this helps me out.) I have a HLG 600w in my 4x4, and I love that light, and the light to which I contrast this spider farmer. I like the Samsung diodes, and the price. It works like new and it has been a year.

Works extremely well for the dimensions described! Installation was easy as it comes out of the box set up with two hanging ropes and carabiners -- just hang up both ends and you're done! Raising and lowering is as simple as pulling a cord, and there's a nice loud ratchet in either side that lets you count the "clicks" to ensure you raise each side equally. It didn't blow up my electrical bill and is very bright. My plants are thriving!

This is my fifth SF series light very good efficiency and have had no problems. Don't yet trust a lot of these bar lights to hold up. Spectrum is better than most lights with some higher Infa-red that most lights have little to none of. This SF 2000 works great with my farmlite side lights in2x4.

It's bright and it's generates quite a bit of heat. I Have a 6 inch exhaust fan running and forced air 4 inch supplying air and it stays around mid 80's outside the tent is 72°

My golden torch cactus looks slightly etiolated after this last winter since it was cloudier than usual, I put them outside in the morning sun until this grow light came in. I hope it’ll help even out the etiolated top a little bit and start growing in fuller. I usually keep my cactus outside in the summer anyways , however I have to bring them in if it rains and I constantly battle pests. I’m going to skip it all this year and start keeping them in a tent from now on, that way I don’t have to deal with pests like mealy bugs and I can admire them at 12am instead of going outside with a flashlight like a crazy person. I have 7 more cactus that will be delivered in the next coming weeks, so I’m hoping to have the lighting dialed in so I can introduce my new desert pals. Eventually I’m going to expand my collection significantly so another light in the future will be in the works. Great quality , heavy and great size.

Growing medical + cannabis. Just as all things concerning money they have to have some type of rating , purity, conformity etc. what I have deduced of the weeds journey is lot’s of people would like to make a lot of money from it .as in the gold rush business model ,do you want to be a miner or sell shovels and potatoes. So good weed is still hard to find,and the only way you are going to get the truly weed of fable.dispensary grow and processed weed is processed.it is grown in large amounts harvested at MAXIMUM WEIGHT/NOT POTENCY,and yes it very good weed but the vandalism will soon occure,it will have nice surface fuzz some frosting , and maybe some sparkle . They probably submit the raw trimmed bud for lab tests, as I can think of no other they get the the ratings they claim there’s no way some of this weed rated at over 20 percent is even 12 percent. This nice professionally grown bud is not the one you can buy,first it is sorted,given a professional haircut into just a darling little coco puff,your best part of the bud is. Now on it’s way to become edibles,oils,and so on and so on . So basically the bag of weed you just bought at the dispensary,as perfect as it looks,it is actually the waste product of the system.if you want real effective marijuana of proper strength and composition. If you grow your own,not all plants are going to measure up,some plants in your legal grow will develop better than others even in top quality feminized seed stock,you will get good plants ,and exceptional plants ,these can be pushed with the aid of top quality nutrients currently tps and proper effective lighting,you can grow the legendary plant blobs of clear resin dripping down the sides of buds that you have to put a splint on to keep from snapping the stem.but you don’t take the plant down at maximum weight ,you run past that at top strength it will have lost a little weight.now don’t cut the whole plant down at once,take the top , maybe a couple more,be patient,you are about to at least double your crop of premium weed,that you can’t buy because no one who pushes it this far will sell it.now let it cook some more,you can get at least 3 to 4 premium trimmings of the plant , just follow it down ,so not commercially possible but if you want a hobby and more insane quality weed than you,and those close to.you could ever smoke give it a go.this is my final spyder farmer light,my last hps and metalhalide lites are out for the first time in 25 years.the spider lites are more penetrating and stronger though the entire spectrum,plus totally silent , some heat but no real problem,no more air mover drawing air through lites for cooling,its getting really quiet here
