For a cheap light, you can’t get any better. I used it for about 3 grows along with three other lights in the same price range. They’re all of different brands. The Spider Farmer definitely outperforms my others in terms of output, final yield and trichome production. I’ve tried numerous grow lights over the years and never had a huge preference in manufacturer until now. I upgraded to 2 SE5000’s for my next grow. I’ve also upgraded my entire setup to Spider Farmer components. This light will be used for seeds until they’re ready for the bigger light now. I’m likely a Spider Farmer customer for life now.

Plant was immediately happy with new light barely adding $1 to the monthly electric bill no real excessive heat from heat sink and the fans help move that around so no problems all in all a good quality buy, I'm going to get another to maximize my coverage.

The Spider Farmer SF1000D 2Pack has significantly boosted my indoor garden's performance. My plants have thrived under these lights, receiving more compliments than ever before. After previous disappointments with other brands, I am happy to have found a reliable and effective solution. However, a major drawback is the substantial heat output. This necessitates additional cooling measures, such as running an indoor AC unit specifically for the grow room. While the lights themselves are energy-efficient, the added cooling costs can offset some of the savings. Once funds allow, I am eager to upgrade to Spider Farmer's higher-end models, which promise lower heat emission. I will be sure to share a follow-up review once I am able to make the switch. Overall, the SF1000D 2Pack is a powerful light that can deliver impressive results. But potential buyers should be aware of the heat issue and plan accordingly. Some of the pros include: Significant improvement in plant growth and quality, Reliable and effective performance. Some of the cons I have experienced include: High heat output requires additional cooling measures, Increased energy costs due to cooling needs In order to combat the cons, my personal recommendations to potential buyers include: Consider the heat output and cooling needs before purchasing. Solid grow light, especially for the price point. No dimmer, so it’s old school, distance away from the light is the dimmer. In a 4x2 tent , use two. Good for 2x2 but 3x3 in too much. So for every 4 square feet, 1 light. But, truthfully if you got a few extra bucks, get it with a dimmer.. Especially if growing a higher value plant.

I purchased two of these lights to add to my growing space which has filled up with seedlings, getting ready for the season. I have a combination of grow lights that I've acquired over several years, along with some 4ft LED "shop" lights that I support in groups of 4. While adjusting the lights today, the bottom side of the Spider light accidentely touched the top of one of the shop lights. HUGE spark, dead Spider light. Turns out the enitre circuitry on the plant-facing LED side of the light is completely exposed, making this a somewhat hazardous piece of equipment to use in a space where you're apt to be shuffling things around, squirting water, etc. A $.10 plastic base/cover would make this a much safer and better piece of equipment.

We have purchased 3 Spider Farmer lights in the last few months and they have worked very well. They are powerful, compact and accurate with the lighting needs of the plants. Their support staff has been very nice to work with as we had a small issue with this light and they corrected the situation very promptly. Would recommend this light.
