Spider farmer quality light at a better price point. I use for houseplants (tropical & succulent), bonsai, and orchid. Haven’t tried any type of production growing yet, but highly recommend over 90% of the other low-end price grow lights.

I’ve tried out so many LED grow lights/shop lights from Amazon over the last few years, all ranging in price, and this one has been the absolute best. My plants responded immediately. It doesn’t run hot. The light is pleasant in the room - not abrasive like some others. Like others have said it does not have an on/off switch but I use a smart power strip for my grow lights anyway. There is one red diode that is dimmer than the others - after speaking with the company it turns out that’s intentional and an infared bulb. Overall I’m very pleased and will be purchasing a second one. Worth every penny.

perfect for vegging plants on my shelves until they are ready to go into their tents for flowering. adjustable hangers are ok, cut them down and use ratcheting hangers. need to find a way to get replacement hangers in the future probably. they dont burn the canopy even when only a couple inches above. I have 4 of the 600 and 4 of the 300, they don't raise the electric bill much even running 18hrs on. if i have a couple not in use I leave them hanging and just unplugged with cords tied to the wire shelf above. You can figure your own style and work it out to your style as they are pretty versatile.

Tropicals from my foliage plant collection clearly love the light of this SF300 growing lamp, judging by the shape and rich color of the leaves. Empirically, I got the right distance between the light source and plants so now grow light gives enough amount of PPFD for my medium-light plants in the center and for the shade-loving plants on the shelf's edges. What I personally love about this lamp is its laconic and aesthetic design makes the lamp inconspicuous (especially if it is installed in a living room etc.), extraordinary lightness, ability to stay almost cool when on for 10-11 hours, and the reflector that casts some light onto the large plants near the shelf. Some people complain about the lack of both timer and switch, but this problem is easily solved with a smart home outlet. Recently a second SF300 was purchased and it arrived damaged. Communication with SF customer service was amazing, their extraordinary friendliness and ability to solve problems quickly and easily is beyond praise.

Two months after I started using this light it stopped working properly. It just flashes now. It is outside of amazons return window and I can’t find how to contact the seller. Don’t waste your money on this light.
