Great light. Very cool you can control it from your phone. Sure beats the analog timers I am used to. Very bright, set it at 20% and it practically blinded me when I looked straight at it. Great PPFD profile. Only been using this light for 1 day now but I would highly recommend it. Set up was easy though it didn't have the best instructions in the world I was able to figure it out. The yo-yo 's are great, make it for extremely quick and easy light distance adjustment. The hooks didn't fit on my tent poles so I just ended up putting a zip-tie around the tent frame poles and clipping the light to those. ... show more

I purchased the G 8600 along with the UV30 and IR supplement lighting... Within 9 months, My driver started to fail at full powor on the G 8600... I did contact spider farmer and they were very quick and a pleasure to deal with... They sent me that new driver and interrupt and it arrived so fast I was shocked... But that's not the best part of the whole story... I have had the biggest yield ever running this light absolutely amazing... I had oceans of buds and if you think I'm kidding I would be happy to supply you a photograph... This light combination is absolutely stunning... Even with the issue that I ran into I actually went in purchased another G 8600 light along with all of it's supplemental UV30 and IR lights... You want to bring your grow into the next level indoors? You would be a fool not to purchase this light... 100 times worth the purchase.... Started out my grow with a 1000 watt light, (not mentioning make because it's irrelevant), and I was getting big time deficiencies. So I bought a Spider Farmer G8600 and it changed everything. My other light has adjustments at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% adjustments. That's it. And that's a pain because in order to dial your light in, you have to raise it a little more, or a little less, to get the ppfd you're shooting for. With this Spider Farmer G8600, you can put your light at 18" or 24" and turn the intensity up from 0-100% and everything in between. Need to go from 125 ppfd to 150 ppfd, just turn the knob21, 22, 23, 37, 42, whatever intensity it needs, without having to move plants to try climb in behind the light inside the tent, to raise the whole light up. My deficiencies cleared up, and everything went nice, thanks to the completely adjustable intensity on this great light. Thanks again Spider Farmer! ... show more

Broke after two months. Customer service was great they had me send a video and they determined it was a faulty driver. Sending replacement for free. The light before it broke was amazing. It outperforms 3x 315 wat cmh lights with better par output at lower watts with way less heat more even distribution and better penetration. ... show more

Low heat, very bright, keep distance with small plants. Have a bunch of these, had a bar fail 6 months in. Sf shipped me a bar within 24 hours that I soldered the wires and bam back in buisness
