I used this in a non traditional application. I had to plunge bore a part changing existing hole centers from 1 3/4" to 2" and was using in a drill press. This was for a one off part at home. Worked excellent. I did damage flutes ever so slightly but that was user error and not the tools fault. I plunged through 1" steel. As good as they get, I've been machining for 30 years and I can tell you this is some of the best aluminum cutting end mills. I ran it at 10k rpm 150 ipm without chatter, considering the extra long cutter I give it 6 stars if I could.
