  • CHEAP PRICE = CHEAP QUALITY
DO NOT MILL HARD MATERIALS WITH THESE CUTTERS. THESE CUTTERS SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOR WOOD, PLASTICS, ALUMINUM, OR MATERIALS IN SUCH A RANGE. I pay twice what I spent for this set on single HSS endmills when I am milling CRS more than once. If you own a CNC router and want to cut wood, go ahead. Otherwise, cut with caution. I plan on purchasing again, or buying slightly more expensive endmills. FYI: I am using these for CNC milling wood. ... show more

  • Value Endmills
These are good, basic endmills. If you are doing a job that needs precision of a couple thousandths, these are not for you. If you're doing significant manufacturing, these are not for you. If you need a basic endmill to do some basic hobbyist milling, these are a great value for the price, but know there are much better tools out there, but also at a much higher price. Personally, I use these for milling 6061 as a hobby and they always perform good enough for my needs. ... show more

  • Think before you buy.
I use the 1/4 inch on the CNC and it does great. I should have realized that the smaller ones would not be very functional because of how shallow the depth was. I wouldn't decrease the rating because of my own mistake but I would not buy this set again. The 1/16 bit for example has a max depth of 3/16. If depth of cut is not a factor, I would recommend these bits. ... show more

  • I'm very happy with these
I'm very happy with these. For the price they've done everything I wanted, which was doing some basic milling on 6061 aluminum. I did break the smallest bit though, you have to be extremely gentle with that one. It was cutting really well, so I got a bit overenthusiastic and started moving the material a bit too fast and snapped it. Definitely user error on that one. ... show more

So far I have only used one of the end mills and it worked fine on that job it will be awhile before I use all but if they continue to be good I will come back for more
